Those turned out nice. I personally love the design and paint of the second one with the ponytail. Not only would it be good in the game but other games as well. I get a real FO:NV vibe from it. I'm one of those people that dislike painting. More so because it is so physically painful to me now but the largest part of the hobby (to me) is the lore and creating my own stuff. I could spend days just building a whole new model from kits.
Thanks-- Terner Thompson did a great job on that one! I can definitely see her fitting into fallout! I'm sorry to hear painting is painful for you! It's really great that there are so many aspects to the hobby people can enjoy. I'm a big fan of kitbashing and building as well!
@@iPaintSmallThings Thank you, arthritis (PSA). So yeah, it happens but oh well. I still enjoy other aspects of this hobby and now with Blender I can make so much more than before! Hope to get my own terrain out there as well.
@@RoseKindred ah yeah that's really tough. Yeah! You can do really complicated and precise kitbashing without having to hold onto small tools with blender. Definitely show all of us and post your terrain when you are ready!
"There are a lot of people who love building and kitbashing but can't stand painting" yup, for some reason I find painting an absolute chore compared to the kitbashing and building aspect.
Thanks for the video, I had no idea haha. Also yeah It is hard to color match! I feel like I was way off now haha. I looked at the reference while choosing colors but I think the brightest highlight was close ish but it should have been a midtone
No problem and thanks for the paint job! I really liked the colors your mini ended up having anyway! The blood splattering was amazing, too, and I'll definitely use it as inspiration when trying it myself

What a cool idea!
Twas a fun video to make!
Hey is it OK for somebody to send you STLs via email for possible future kitbashed?
I think that depends on the model maker's legal restrictions! Typically stl sharing is a no no though
@@iPaintSmallThings can I email you the specific question I have in mind?
@@akumaking1 sure!
@@iPaintSmallThings did you get my email?
@@akumaking1 Just emailed back!
that $80 paint job does not feel good.
