Looks good John, bag quality looks better than my sawyer squeeze for sure although i have never broke one. It's also a bit faster at 2 liters a minute vs 1.7 for the squeeze. However the flow rate out of the box will be different to the flow rate after it has been used for a while. 😉. Personally I will still take my squeeze, for two reasons. It has a life time guarantee, about 3 700 000 litres i think, which is because it can easily be back flushed, which i always do before a hike, and Secondly, it can be screwed onto any old water bottle which I don't think that one can.Just my opinion of course and that deffinately looks a great bit of kit though 😅
@@leebarton1143 Back flushing is the big one, the others are not strong enough to handle it. Some other reasons I would favour the Squeeze is that their business model is pretty admirable. Christian company donating 90% of their profits to save 100s of thousands of lives. They don't just donate countless of their filters to African and other countries (thousands of villages get their drinking water from the Squeeze) but also build wells etc. Dan becker has a couple of good youtube videos showing their story.
@@paulh4691 I have seen them my friend, I was totally agreeing with your comment that you made. I have the squeeze myself and favour it over everything else.
Yeah, this one doesn't screw onto any bottle, only it's own proprietary bags, however it is a bigger mouth opening which I love. Yours definitely has a long life span, that's amazing!
Haha... I usually do too (depending)... However I did get severely sick not that long ago from drinking what I thought was clean flowing creek water, and that changed everything for me. At least now I don't have to risk it anymore.

Looks like a bloody good filter! Will definitely check them out. Some filters are just painfully slow.
Cheers for the info mate👌
If Outdoor Boys uses it, you know it's good! 🙌

What about chemicals from farms etc??
Water filters do not remove poisons, so best to get water from as clean source as possible.
