I’m a brand new knitter watching this video. You’ve made me feel confident with your teaching method to try this hat. I’m so happy I found your TH-cam channel. Thank you!!!
Thank you very much. So... beautiful patterns n well explain. I just finished with straight needles as I don’t have round needles. It’s turn up really nice. I’m happy. 😊
Amazing tutorial for a first-time knitter! Never even knitted a scarf before, much less anything with circular needles. Showing the error-correcting steps were especially helpful. I made my toque a few inches longer so that I could fold the brim over, and I haven't decided whether to add the pom pom yet, but I absolutely love it! Also I didn't have a tapestry needle, so I made my own with a twisty-tie taped onto a wooden chopstick and it worked in a pinch. Thank you for teaching me so many new techniques in one video!
This hat is so adorable. You're a wonderful teacher. Thank you so much!:) I started making it and I had to rip it out because the ribbing is only 15" and I need it to be 24". I'm not a baby. Lol
Hi! Thanks for this--it's such a beautiful pattern! I'm testing it out currently. Obviously it's too late for the video, but in the future, I'd suggest that instead of saying "slip 1" that you're more specific. Because you can slip 1 knitwise or purlwise with the yarn in front or back, and the default sl1 (so I've heard) is to slip 1 purlwise, so the lack of specificity is slightly confusing.
Thank you so much dear Ashley I am almost done with my hut in this beautiful pattern but my have a little gaps or holes that is normal? Thank you so much
Hi Since this is chunky yarn u cast on 42 stitches..but if yarn is not chunky and we caston more stitches..then how to decrease stitches on top of head.? Kindly reply. Thank u
Thanks for this tutorial. I love that after the ribbing, there is no more purling.
Yes! Love hats in the round ☺️

Yes, the stitch does have some holes -- part of the stitch pattern. Don't worry!
Can this be done in flat knitting for a scarf?
Hi
Since this is chunky yarn u cast on 42 stitches..but if yarn is not chunky and we caston more stitches..then how to decrease stitches on top of head.?
Kindly reply.
Thank u
You can decrease the same way!
Question! What would I cast on to make this a smaller hat? Like for a child?
???
Hi! which brand of circular needles are you using for this project? I try to find something similar but, that's difficult. Nice hat!
Can I use a size US 9 circular?
You can but the hat will be smaller! You can cast on a few more stitches if you want….
If I use 9mm needle how many stitches should I cast on?
Not sure - you’ll have to convert the pattern based on your gauge!

Is this baby size cap?
It is not -- it's meant for an adult and/or older child.
