Thanks for your gear videos! I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Hope you read the comments and take suggestions on video content as i would love to see you review how you clean and store your wool between seasons
Been hunting Alaska all my life. Used a lot of the gear out there. There are three brands that stand way above the others. For boots, schnees. For gear, T&K hunting gear. For clothing, Sixsite. All American made except the mountain boots are made in Italy like all of them.
Thanks for a great pack dump video! I've been running a Black Diamond Storm 400 headlamp for the past few years and tried various other headlamps before that. Had a couple minor issues with the Black Diamond in the past but their customer service is top notch and they got me a replacement immediately so I can't complain. Recently picked up the Peax Backcountry Duo headlamp and I can agree with the other comments here. It is by far the best headlamp I've ever used. Rechargeable, bright, red light option, and built like a tank.
Awesome Review and I appreciate the honest descriptive details of the hows, what's and why's to include the terrain. Real deal! The Peax Backcountry Duo Headlamp is hands down the Best on the market! The Ghost Bull Hunting, Wickiup Rain Gear System is Alaska and PNW Tested and Proven and I'd love to get some in your hands and on you and hear your thoughts! I will never go back to Filson Tin Pants and or Grundens, or Guy Cotten Rubber Rain Gear again and built this American Made Rain Gear so we don't have to! I'll put our Rain Gear against anyone's and staying bone dry is Priceless! Thanks Donnie and great video! Take care
I love my Hanwag GTX, been wearing them for almost 10 years now. Although, when hunting Chamois high up in the mountains I prefer my La Sportiva Nepal GTX, they are much stabler/rigid for climbing.
Idk if you've ever looked into it, but 8.6 blackout looks like a round that'd be up your alley. Not sure if they've brought polymer cases to it yet but it's definitely a cool round ballistically. Awesome guide list.
How bout we talk about the ballot initiative in Colorado to ban lion hunting? Don’t you guys think we need to all get together and beet these people and save hunting
Hey Donnie, thanks for the great video! Do you know which exact model Gransfors axe you used in this video? Hoping to purchase my first one for elk backpack hunting next year. Thanks!
Funny thing is you have a Cadex R7 for your rifle sitting on your Wiggys bag and you didn't even mention it. I own that exact gun and few people have them. Why didn't you mention yours ? Do you not like it ? Also own many wiggys bags. I live in the NWT come hunting.
Grundens is a good mention. I use Helly Hansen workwear but yeah it's the same essentially. Heavy duty, rubberized... Dry. Can def get sweaty if you're active. If you're in real downpours you can forget all that gtx, lightweight stuff. Useless.
True velocity is a gimmick, and the 6.8tvc is slower than a standard 270, the ammo is atrociously expensive, and you can't reload it. I love your videos, you always have top tier content, but the TV stuff is trash.
Makes me proud of being Swedish seeing all these top notch Swedish brands :)
I use Fjallraven and Hestra and they're one of the best performers, you Swedes really know your outdoor gear
Ty for your honesty. Not just promoting whomever pays your air time. Big fan. Ur truly an inspiration.
As another viewer here said, the “Peax Duo Headlamp” is hands-down the best out there! 70+ hours on one charge, waterproof and very durable.
The Peax is a really good headlamp.
your experience with hunting and sharing your ideas is well appreciated!
And sleeping bag…. In the plane😂. Keep em coming, Donny, love them all!
Glad you enjoy the videos. Plan is to keep going with them... and a lot more hunt content coming up.
Peax Backcountry Duo headlamp! Best headlamp ever made by far!

Excellent info, I appreciate the honesty with the gear and not being concerned about expressing critiques. New sub.

No doubt, it’s always cool to have a few sharps even if some are not exactly mandatory

Excited for you to make history with our ammunition, Donnie!
