Pokemon Red/Blue/Yellow - Lavender Town (FamiTracker)

I swear, I'm not dead. I took a break from FamiTracker to play Final Fantasy 13 some. I'm done with the story now, so I think it's time to return to the covers.
Add the "somber mood" comments I put in the Pokemon Tower video.
The FDS channel sounds weird towards the end of the loop, but I had enough troubles with that channel in the first place (note multiple instruments - I needed notes higher than the FDS could produce) that I left good enough alone.

@QVear You've got a good version there, but the idea here was to re-create the theme as closely as I could. That's why I went with FDS: to get the GB's wave channel taken care of. The melody here is buzzier than I could get with a triangle or pulse.

I agree.... The only way I could recreate that drone sound was using the FDS wavetable (I made like, a sawtooth wave made up of square segments) It was the only way I could get it to sound right... I'm just puzzling over how they did it orignally

Well the GB has a wavetable channel, so that's what was used for any non-pulse sounds. So applying that to FDS (or in the beta, N163) is how you'd do that in FamiTracker.

I've made improved version of the song WITHOUT using FDS or any fancy expansion chips, only internal NES chip. Now it is uploading, will add it as video response.
