His spidey sense helps him aim his web swinging. It's how he stays agile/dextrous while hurtling through the air in impossible speeds. Couple that with superhuman stamina, and you start to understand how this becomes second nature for him.

I feel like if you found a way to make is much less shaky, but still keep the tracking of the head (like when you spin, the camera follows), then it would be playable and actually fkn sick
the answer is to put this in VR with eye tracking. If you were actually swinging it wouldn't seem that shaky to you because your eyes would adjust within your head to actually swinging. This would be so dope if they could implement something like that without VR tho;

This is possible, the camera would have to not be attached to head position though. That means you have to animate certain camera functions.. which that.. i don't know if it's possible. You'd have to restrict the pitch and rotation to input and but somehow keep the roll for whenever you swing.

@@aizokunI would like to add that because we aren't actually doing any of those web swinging or parkour in real life, with our physical body, of couse this would mess with our brains. For close examples: parkours and breakdance. I'm always amzed by how breakdancers can pull all those spinning move for such a long time without getting dizzy.

His brain probably rewired itself when he got bit to make him more resistant to nausea. I mean he could keep himself upside down basically 24/7 if he felt like it and never get any sickness or headaches like we do.

The shaky cam makes me feel more like Spider-Man even though it’s not a good game design for people who aren’t interested in this kind of experience in a Spider-Man game.

When i first saw that video I thought "damn, how does Peter even know where he is flying with that view?". But after a while time, i started my gymnastics training, it's almost a year now, I learned some flips and stunts. And I am like "yeah, i can feel that, it's ok not to see where he is flying, steel feel the surrounding and know where he is going". So as Miles was saying "lots of practice"
To be fair your head would be moving with your eyes, not like how you’re stationery right now watching his pov, so it would be much less dizzying
After 100s of hours in Spider-Man ps4 and Miles Morales this just seems more optimal in a way

Maybe it could've been added better having a separate cam that acts like a gyro but still feels like it's through Peters eye(assuming it's just a camera directly attached to the head)

It could be totally done, except for the parts where he spins in the air, as those would need the actual head to look mostly on the direction you are facing. That would need the head to be reanimated and programmed to follow a direction or the player's view. If it was a separate camera, It wouldn't work for the spinning motions as it could cut on the illusion of the fpv

It can be done, I'm positive. They just would need to get the mechanics smooth and correct. Kind of like Mirror's Edge: Catalyst with the grappling hook. They should show your head going through your arms as they hang on to the string of web. And make the head movements and anticipation of grappling seamless.
