Evolution of Rainbow High - A Retrospective in Blue: Skyler Bradshaw, Kim Nguyen & Gabriella Icely

- Today we will be taking a look at 4 dolls from the Rainbow High family of dolls. These 4 dolls span the last 2 years of the series, from the Budget Rainbow High series 3 to the Rainbow World Slime series. Also, these dolls all share a color theme, in various blues.
See the evolution of how we went from getting a fully articulated doll, with Fantastic Fashion Skyler to when they released the Rainbow World Slime Skyler, with less articulation. With Series 5 Kim Nguyen we also see the addition of accessories but lack of a second outfit. With the Series 3 budget Gabriella we see far less articulation and a less detailed outfit.

I love the Skyler fantastic fashion version with denim outfits. Today I was going to buy Delilah Fields, love the flowers & yellow/white but there were some lipstick paint lines 'bleeding'. It was the only one in that store. I'll have to visit other shops. As yet I haven't seen the dolls with the slime here in Australia.
Delilah is such a rare doll here in the States. To find her in a store would be such a beautiful thing! I hope you find one you like. I wonder why the slime dolls aren't there yet? They have been out here since January.

Interestingly, my favorite RH blue doll that isn't an SH doll is Kim Nguyen (Glitch, Eliza, and Uma are very difficult blue dolls to beat in my SH/RH collection). She is literally a perfect base doll for restyles, and her hair blend and makeup are so beautiful to me. I was lucky enough to get a Kim doll with decent bangs and a perfect face somehow. I also really like Gabriella Icely as well, and I was fortunate enough to get her off of Ebay. As for Skyler, I only have her doll from the Dream and Design playset because I am not the biggest fan of denim-themed dolls, and I find her boring compared to the other blue RH dolls. And yes, Skyler's pet is meant to be a Yeti.🖤💜
The SH dolls have so many amazing blue dolls. I admit I'm not a huge fan of all the denim, but this Fantastic Fashion dress I do really love. I would love to get an extra one to dye black. It would look so stunning in black I think. Kim is one of the most beautiful dolls but I have been having a hard time getting her hair to lay correctly so she doesn't have bald spots. Gabrielle is stunning! She (the fully articulated version) was one of my first dolls I got new in box too. 💜💜

My favourite in this lineup is fantastic fashion Skyler if it wasn’t for Kim’s rooting. I bet Kim would look amazing in Skyler’s denim sparkly dress. I would love to see a picture of that sometime on your instagram please if you get a chance ❤
I totally agree with you. I wish Kim had better hair rooting. And I totally meant to show Kim in Skyler's long sparkly dress and forgot! I took a photo just a bit ago and will definitely share it! She looks amazing in it. 😀

The blue dolls are mostly ok to me the only ones im in love with are dream and design and Blu Brooks their faces and outfits are the best to me
I have Dream and Design Skyler and I'll be featuring her in a future video. I still need to get Blu Brooks, she has a really cute look to her and I love the cast on her arm. It's so unique.
