This is so outrageously good!
Thanks mom!! It's one of my new favorites too 🥰
Yum 😋
Yum!!! I can’t wait to try this cake! Thank you, Kim!!!!
Hope you like it!
I love coconut. This looks amazing.
My dad absolutely loved coconut cake. My maternal grandmother would make him a fresh coconut cake from scratch every year for his birthday…❤. He went to his heavenly home in 2017, but I’m sure he would have loved this! I’m a huge coconut fan too…😉
Thanks so much for this recipe!
❤-Brenda
I'm so sorry for your loss. My dad and I are the top coconut fans in my family as well 🥰
is coconut oil ok? Because I don't want other oils in my body (inflammation)
I just checked the recipe. I don't use vegetable oil either. Coconut or avocado oil would both work. You just don't want something like olive oil that will add a distinct flavor.
@@jennybee42 didn't you add vegetable oil to the butter in the beginning to make it light and moist? In Belgium avocado oil is even stronger of a flavor than olive oil. Only can find "extra virgin" avocado oil and it's crazy expensive and sold in small bottles. I hope they will come to sell the mild one overhere very soon.
I haven't made this yet but I would likely use avocado oil instead. I'm in the States and our avocado oil doesn't taste like anything. Refined coconut oil doesn't either, but I would just need to make sure it was melted and not solid.
@@jennybee42 I thought you were the maker of the video that answered the question. Didn't look at your name (that's why I was confused that you didn't remember you used veggie oil in the beginning 🙂) . Yes coconut oil can have a very strong flavor also.
Sugar Shock ! 😵💫
