    120 grainers win. What was the distance? Where is this place. I always like country like that. Desert Mule deer around there?

    Looks like the 140s are better up and down and the 120s are better left and right. Which would lead me to think that 130s might be the best overall all but they actually
    Ok the worst overall lol. Great video!

      I know! that's what I would think too. it was weird to see that.

    Looking at the video, all 120 were tighter, also the up n downs could be from little dip bands so ... ya 120 seemed much better .... Just a thought maybe shoot 150 or 300 with just ea. set and then get an average for ea. round .... great video again Angus :)

      That's what I was thinking too. Yeah, I've done that since I recorded this. I used a plotting tool and marked the less than perfect shots so that I could see which arrows grouped closer to the middle on those shots

    The 120s for sure. Have the least amount of left/right spread. Which is what you are looking for anyway correct?

    I’d be interested to see if the 140’s performed better then the 120’s in the wind

    • @AngusMoss_Archery
      @AngusMoss_Archery  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      They're pretty comparable from what I've noticed. I have some windy days out here on occasion and on real gusty shots they don't really do any better than the 120s that I've noticed.
      I think it's because the arrow has to linger in the air a little bit longer than the 120s so the wind has more opportunity to push it around. Also, the 140s seems like they are less forgiving and accurate which means I would probably have to put a bigger vane on the arrow to make the 140s shoot more like the 120s... But if I have to put a bigger vane on the arrow that's adding even more weight and surface area for wind. Idk. the 120s are a little bit better overall from what I've seen.
      They just seem to be a really good balance between weight and speed I guess.

      @@AngusMoss_Archery that makes sense to go with the best overall. You’ve also had really good results previously in competition with the 120’s if I’m not mistaken and have a real positive mindset when using them

    Ur hand is coming out and to the right when shoot breaks do u feel that makes u hit different

    • @AngusMoss_Archery
      @AngusMoss_Archery  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's just the natural break of the shot for me. The pressure is in the correct direction during the shot. where the hand goes afterwards isn't as important.
      The whole "hand going back and behind your neck" thing is just a symptom or a sign of correct pressure for many but It's not the actual solution to the problem that people are trying to solve.
      I see a lot of slow Mo's of guys that have terrible pressure direction but after the shot fires they force their hand back and behind their neck as if it was perfect.
      As far as the question of whether I think it makes me hit different or not I would say; of course. Anything that you change/force on your shot is going to affect your impacts. What matters is doing the things that foster a consistently precise shot execution.
