  • The DELTA TILE LEVELING SYSTEM Kit from RUBI includes: 1 nippers, usable in both flooring and walls (installation of horizontal and vertical tiles), 1 bag of 100 units of strips for use in ceramic tiles with thickness between 1/8” and 1/2", and 1 bag of 100 units of reusable wedges.
    All components in the RUBI DELTA TILE LEVELING SYSTEM kit come in a practical bucket type container with a handle for easy use and transport.
    The bucket type container can be reused by replacing strips or damaged or lost wedges, as well as allowing the nippers to be stored away until their next use. The DELTA TILE LEVELING SYSTEM from RUBI is ideal for laying large format ceramic tiles (minimum size required: 12”x12”) using the back-buttering technique.
    The DELTA TILE LEVELING SYSTEM prevents the movement of parts when the adhesive is setting and improves the resulting surface flatness. Thanks to the DELTA system, the professional installer sees how work time is reduced and the profitability of installation work improves, both in floor and wall tiles.
    The DELTA TILE LEVELING SYSTEM was created to save time in installing large format tiles, particularly in rectified porcelain tiles, as well as to ensure perfect installation and leveling with any material and dimensions.
    The pressure exerted on the DELTA tile wedges, thanks to the strips and the nippers, makes it a great solution to save time and get the best results in the installation of ceramic tiles.
    At RUBI we are aware of the importance today of efficiency and time savings, so our product development managers are very focused on these concepts when designing new tools.

    So the idea is to push down with the heel or fat part of the wedge ?

    • @RUBITools

      The idea is to use the pliers to push the wedge tightly under the clip.

    is the delta better than the cyclone

    • @RUBITools
      @RUBITools  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends a bit on personal preference. With the Delta Pliers you'll apply the same pressure over every tile, which is a plus. But the cyclone system requires no other tools because you tighten it with your hands. Up to you which you prefer.

    • @RUBITools
      @RUBITools  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's not so stupid. It's always better to use the materials you already have. Unfortunately, we can't guarantee you that another brand's wedges will work with our clips, but you can give it a try. Maybe there's a store that will let you test on one of their clips before purchasing?

    He's installing wedges in wrong direction! He's pushing installed tile down and towards new tile. Checkout another Rubi video that is doing it right. th-cam.com/video/tnZqbj09T8A/w-d-xo.html

      Right... so the tile you are fitting to is deemed level.... Then the next tile is pushed down to that level with the fat part of the wedge creating the down force from the pliers
