Great tutorial. Learned the names of so many of the sections (ex. Snowballing, Flying Geese, etc) and faster ways to prep/cut pieces and handy special rulers that help making tasks easier AND more accurate. My sister quilts regularly, but don’t think she has some of the more helpful tools. Plan to check her supplies for specialty tools she may already and add some as birthday & Christmas gifts of those shown here today that she is missing. I will especially be checking for the Flying Geese ruler and the wool ironing pad (I need one of those, just because of where and how it can be used - & has a small “footprint” placement & storage that would be extremely helpful in my small space.).
Great video! Love these fabrics and tools, etc. I’ve put several in my basket while watching, Including more Frixion pens and refills!! I’m nit sure I have this particular Creative Grids template so I’ve added it as well. I’d rather end up with two than none and I can always gift an extra one to a friend😄😄👍
You’re a wonderful teacher and explain things so well. I have a constructive thought. The flying geese ruler may be a bit confusing when squaring the block for left handlers. Perhaps a little explanation on how to use the ruler for those who are left handed. Thanks for a great tutorial!
