I''m a regular Martha Stewart. I have a nick-name as well. I don't know who gave it to me. Most likely Mom or Dad. I've had it for soooooo long. And that name is 'Felix Unger'. Now if you are old enough to remember the original sit-com from the 70's, The Odd Couple with Tony Randal playing Felix Unger & Jack Klugman playing Oscar Madison, that is the Felix Unger that my nick-name is based on. And that's how long I have had it. Not the newer sit-com from 2015 where Felix seems overly O.C.D. Thank Heavens. So after watching a handful of your videos so far, I want to say that I am "Extremely" impressed with the cleanliness of your entire set-up! From front to back! Admirable! Very impressive! I am respecting you & your routine morals immensely! And I haven't even gotten to the video listing or opened up your Excel list of maintenance! (was it in Excel - have to re-check that) Now, having said all of that, after seeing your garage space, I am also extremely jealous! I have an older Class C. It is new to me & in immaculate shape. However, storage compartments; garage space, what the heck is that? Seriously! lol That's where having the mentality of a Martha Stewart is going to help me! lol
Good points on the AC maintenance. I too like to keep the filters cleaned often. I need to check my coils though because it has been about a year and a half. thanks for the reminder
Great video & series. Did mine today & very happy I did. A bunch of strofoam bits were wedged into the evaporator coils & the unit needed taped off around the inside of the coach like crazy. FWIW, a can of Krylon Fusion Spray Paint will make your covers like new. Been using it for years on the outside of my campers. On current motorhome I painted the A/C cover, fridge rooftop vent, sewer vent rooftop cover, & smoke shower roof cover all white with Krylon Fusion rattle can stuff. Sticks & stays on plastic like a bad dog.
Nice, good tip. Appreciate you stopping by and watching too 👍🏼Biggest thing we did was that AC modification that greatly improved air flow through the ducts. th-cam.com/video/fBAUuMoD-ec/w-d-xo.html
@@WhyWait No thank you. If not for running across your vids on this subject I'd have never cracked into my unit to inspect unless something went wrong. Turns out my Coleman Mach unit on the Winnebago was already quasi modded so to speak with a divider & factory block off plate however, everything else in the plenum channels were exposed styrofoam that was flaking off & getting sucked up into the evap coil. If not for running across your vids on this subject I'd have never cracked into my unit to inspect unless something went wrong
Amazing modification to A/C!!! I saw this similar set up with foam being sold for a ton of money! I am going to make 2 of these for our Montana! Thanks for sharing! Great video. I have to subscribe now!
Great video, Thanks now Sandi is telling me to get up there, lol. btw I've had the same screw in that same corner stripped as well, Thanks again keep up the good work.
Great video and well timed for releasing.. we went from snow & cold two weeks ago and night 90s in Wisconsin.. we have been researching what we can do to improve our AC efficiency.. thanks Chasing RV Sunshine ☀️ Joel, Deb & 🐕 Maya
We will be following you alot..we bought A 06 Gulfstream fema disaster...we are completely updating everything...never had a camper soo your videos are tremendously helping
How did you get those vents apart to seal them up.. the ones in the ceiling.. I can see screws but can’t seem to figure out how to get the cap to pop off..
is there a need to lubricate the fans or bearings on the unit? Would love some insight on that! Our AC makes a squeal now and then. Someone mentioned to try to lube the fan shaft or the bearings themselves, but I didn't see much by means of access!
I’m not totally sure but you could. Some light lubricant oil or Boeshield T-9 would probably do the trick. You should have access to lube those parts if you open up the unit by taking the plastic cover off.

I’m pretty OCD with keeping everything in its designated spot. Keeps me sane!
@@WhyWait I completely agree! O.C.D., to me is a must! 😁 In "my" opinion, being overly or obsessively O.C.D. now becomes a problem for everyone!

What kind of RV do you have? Are you talking about the round ones, they just pop off in mine.
