I try to always do my night routine. I hate when I don't and have to get up to a huge mess. For me the night routine is the most important. It's so much easier to stay on top of things thru out the day when you start out with everything in order. Thanks for the motivation.

I struggle so hard with the night routine. I have wrote down some several times but I never follow through. I've even tried sticking to just 3 top things that flylady recommends but I always fall short. It frustrates me to always feel behind even though flylady says to not think we're behind, I still do & it paralyzes me. I get so wiped out at night that I hardly even want to make dinner sometimes. I don't enjoy getting up to a mess but I haven't changed doing the night routine yet. my inner brat is seriously challenging me on this. Thanks for the real life inspiration to get started!

I have to fuss with myself as well to get up and do what I need to do that night I basically have the same routine that you have. the only difference is I washed clothes once a week but there is only 3 of us I have one more teenager left and he is in the 10th grade his two brothers have already moved out and have a life of Their Own. I have to fuss at myself a lot to get up and do whatever is needed cuz half the time I don't feel good due to my health issues but I keep going forward not backwards sometimes it's a challenge I love your videos they're very inspirational to me and I watch your videos and a few other mothers videos. it's motivate me. I feel like you are my friend I enjoyed watching your videos you have an awesome family and I've learned a lot of different tricks and info for my house thank you and have a blessed day

I learned years ago (l'm talking 25,30 - 40 yrs ago) that my dishwasher did a really terrific job without my help. If it did not, I consulted the instructions. As per... I made sure to scrape them, rinse 'em and rack 'em (not stack) as the were brought to the sink. I even stopped cleaning and dusting before my imaginary maid arrived. Imagination is a great thing eh? Kimmy, keep doing things your way and ignore mine. When they work for you, "keep on trucking!"
I have made Progress, not perfection my mantra. Even at work. It's been liberating!

Lol I swear one day I'm going to buy you a dishwasher haha I feel so bad you have to hand wash them before you put them in that would drive me crazy... Where are the kiddos (Mainly Shaylee and Boston) while you do your night routine? Mine are always asking for love and I get interrupted but by the time they are in bed I'm crashing and burning.

I have a special request. I know you are mostly a norwex household and because of you I did get a bunch of the different cloths etc. My request is the next time you do cleaning video like this could you maybe put along the bottom what cloth your using as you use it? I am a little overwhelmed with all the things I have and where I should be using them. :-) Right now I'm just using the enviro and the window cloth. That is easy enough. But since I had a pretty big party I have all these other things I got free like 2 different kitchen cloths etc. I understand there may be reasons you cant or wont do this but It is just a thought and I will still love you either way! :-)
I would have to vacuum in the morning. I like to go to bed really early and wake up really early. I do not know why but I have not been feeling well in the afternoons. Great video! You do motivate me when I see you do these things! Sometimes it is more of just getting in the habit of doing certain things that helps getting things done! I remember when I first got married I would leave dinner dishes in the sink. I hated going back later to do them more than doing them as soon as we were done with dinner. So now it is my habit to do them right then, but I have other things that I will put off doing and I could just kick myself! Like vacuuming the floors😳 I HATE to do the floors! But if you look in my sink it is rare to find a dirty dish, go figure😏

I've been back on the Flylady for 3 weeks now (on and off a couple of times) and love it! I easily get overwhelmed & anxious just like you, so I'm really loving the system. The night routine is the most important one for my sanity :-) I still struggle with the weekly home blessing. I just can't do it in 1 hour, and leaving the task unfinished because the 15 min are up is too hard. I don't strive for perfection anymore, but doing things only half drives me crazy, even if Flylady thinks it still blesses my family... Any tips? Could you do another home blessing hour?

Summer Hotchkiss lol I was just going to ask the same thing! Maybe she pops them off because it's a gas stove. I used to do that when we had one because they were always getting bumped enough does the gas to be on.

just one little thing and it's just me but plz save water, stop running the water to rinse the dirty dishes and transfer to dishwasher. quick rinse right there and then by filling the sink and transfer without running the water. otherwise love your videos, I'm a newbie to your channel just subscribed today! ...beautiful family!
Jesse Gutierrez I 100% agree with you, but people that prewash will say it is necessary for one reason or another. Can't teach an old dog new tricks I was told. I wash all my dishes by hand, never had a washer,
.
Some people (like Kimmy) have to prewash the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher for one reason or another so don't judge someone for doing something when you don't know why they do it a certain way.

She's her apron how are you? Every night l will cook for my family and l do laundry, l do the dishes and everything inside the kitchen. Four days a week l will clean all the house. Sometimes l'm so tired and exhausted with all that. But I have patient with my job and my housework. Bye for now.
