    Dude I'm so damn sorry about the death threats you got from my fellow Singaporeans. Not all of us are as braindead as this. I did watch your SQ review, and I honestly didn't expect that you'd get this much backlash.
    At least SQ was still able to take the criticism to heart, which is good.

      SQ is a good airline. Cant compare the cabin crew today against those that served 20-30 yrs again, standards have changed.
      Those Singaporeans that have posted extremely rude and vulgar comments have not only shamed themselves alone.

    It is a shame as a Malaysian to see our national airlines to be the first in the rank despite it is once one of the best airlines in the world before 😟 Hope that they will try to improve themselves in the future and make their slogan "Malaysian Hospitality" live up to their name.

    I used to fly Malaysia airlines when I was a student. I was poor & I only got to go home twice a year for 5 years because I got student discounts with Malaysia airlines (I dont think I can even get home in that 5 years if not for the student discount tbh). Other airlines were just way too expensive back then. The service back then was great, at least from my experience. But in recent years it really had gotten worse. I want to support them as a national carrier but they really need to step it up..

    I have been watching your videos for a few months, and at first, I thought that some opinions were a little harsh. Now I have grown to like your reviewing style. The problems with Singapore Airlines really shocked me because that airline seems to have good reputation with so many in the travel industry. The MH mess is another shock. Be careful. There are so many crazies in this world. I also like the videos you did with Noel Philips. Safe travels!

    What a fantastic summary! And unbelievable how shortsighted some people are (incredible what happened there at that Malaysian flights and that incredible situation with Oman on the ground, and and and) - while, yes, as you said, most crew are just wonderful!
    Really every video of you that I watch really provides information along with some entertainment. And lots of reality and globally good values. (that's important too) Perfect mix.

    I am glad vloggers do honest reviews. It helps in deciding which airline gets my money. If only we could choose one now. Everyone has bad flights now and then, but you always expect professional crews to do their best. Stay safe and soon we can return to travel.

    There are fairytales and reality. If it wasn't for Josh I would never consider Indigo, cos Indian carriers aren't that passenger friendly (based on my Air India and Jet Airways exp) . But the trust that I kept on Josh made me change my opinion. His reviews are realistic. Also, Malaysia Airline crew is unprofessional and Rude, no arguments. Airasia crew btw is really wonderful, twas the first airline I flew and ws wonderful. So Josh, keep up the good work. We don't travel as much as you do, but ur opinions and reviews are so valuable for to make us our limited travel opportunities much more enjoyable. Thank you.

    I have no problem with airlines like Singapore Airlines or Turkish. However, the rest you said...
    Yeah.
    (Almost) Every time I fly TK, the crew is always nice and respectful to me. They give very nice welcoming. They have their moments sometimes but other than that, they are great.
    And no offense to Malaysian Airlines but they went downhill after 2014 for reason I won’t say so I don’t get my account deleted.

    Great video. As a regular viewer of your content, I remember most of these flights. Spice Jet, Air Canada and Malaysia Airlines were the three worst flights in my opinion.

      I'm Malaysian, my last flight with MH was a disappointment. I just feel corruption, incompetence and mismanagement brought the company down way below their old standard, which i used to fell in love with. It's effect trickled down do what customers can feel, my IFE broken for entire flight, food wasn't great, crew seems unmotivated, planes getting older, not tip top condition, etc.
      A damn shame, my last flight before that was a dream, it broke my heart reminiscing that flight, seeing that standard is no longer with MH.
      On the contrary, I've had amazing flights with SQ. Unlike you though, i got a good deal so it feels good value for money lol. Got a good IFE, delicious food, crew very responsive and friendly, to me SQ has that old MH that i missed.
      But maybe i should give MH a chance, maybe my previous flight was a fluke.

    Emirates is one the worst. I flew from Amsterdam to Dubai and I got a chair with broken table and my index finger was wounded because of the sharp edge of the broken table. I reported to the crew but nothings was done from their side. I am 100% sure if I were a western like you they would have react accordingly.

    As with ALL reviews, it’s really subjective. I’m no big flying reviewer like Mr Cahill. But I am very sure, my flag carrier flies mighty and proud. I’m so sorry, Mr Cahill, Singapore Airlines may not have fulfilled your personal perfect version of an airline. But we deliver, we fulfil promises and we look ahead.

    As a Nepalese I would like to say that most of Nepalese like that guy age people are like that. They don't know bout the future and they are like that in their home too. Thanks for flying Nepal Airlines hope you fly it soon again from Narita to Kathmandu and From Kathmandu to Lukla. You'll be having life time experience if you fly to lukla. ThankYou!

    I flew most of the airlines of those mentioned in the video and mostly agree. I had different - thank god - positive experience with Singapore Airlines and Oman Air.

      Speaking as a Singaporean: You kinda get used to the attitude. Most just say only, but can't or won't go through with it. And usually the ones who DO go through with it end up in more trouble than they think.
      Trust me, I KNOW what a lot of these people are like. I served National Service in the Police Force, and I can say with confidence a LOT of these people don't give a F*** about the opinions of others.
      First world nation, Third world mindset, ladies and gentlemen. Good on SIA to take his criticism to heart, and improve on service, though.

      I personally don’t believe local Singaporean provide such of death threaten against his comment, but maybe new migrants 🙂. Like their government, SIA or any Singaporean willing to hear any negative feedback and improve themselves, this is how they can become success and great country today. As a foreigner point of view, I can literally see them handle pandemic so well , same does SIA management 😊

    I'm actually quite shocked to hear that Xiamen Air was so bad during that flight, and there's no excuse for everything you've mentioned. My experience with Xiamen Air for Chinese domestic routes has always been good, but I've not taken any Int'l flight operated by them. Also, now think of it, you could probably complained about that whole experience to your connection at China Southern, since they are the parent company.

    I flew on Xiamen air once and I must tell you, it's not really the fault of the cabin crew but rather uncultured passengers.
    1) like in the video, they stash their unused stuff on empty seats
    2) they change seats like as if they own the company
    3) stand up during take off and behave very rudely
    Previously I saw (3) happen with my own eyes and the cabin crew had to tell them off but they didn't listen.

    my worst? There're 3 experiences I call nightmare: Copa, KLM and Avianca Colombia. Copa calls itself a full service airline charging as it is and on my flight to PTY, it didn't provide any food. Only beverages and licor. 6h flight empty tummy. KLM had forgotten I bought a CDG-CNF via AMS-GIG and when I got to Rio there wasn't a booking in my name. I had to buy a new ticket from GIG-CNF and sued the airline. Avianca's service back in 2013 was horrible. Bad food, bad flight attendants, lousy seat and terrible timetable at GRU. This battle is hard to decide hahaha

    I once flew with a Malaysian airline with a damaged IFE condition and also an unfriendly flight crew. I'd rather fly with AirAsia than the airline😊

    Josh, the worst for you would be the death threats. So wrong.. my worst flight was people's express from Atlanta to London when I went home to England didn't realize that people expressed file bankruptcy so I did not have a way back to the states and there was no food on the flight.

    6:37 i flown Jet Airways A330-200 DEL-AMS on January 2019 (almost their bankruptcy on March). It was quite good flight. Thank God no issues.

      I have to add that a friend that traveled with me was offered a reimbursement coupon (like USD50.00) because apparently the multi media screen was broken. It was not broken and he was honest and didn't claim the reimbursement.

    I am not a fan of MH either. Although a well discounted biz fare to the UK and return, the service was not at all good and it was amazing that the interior surfaces of a fairly new A350 were so grubby. My second flight with them was in economy and that flight resulted in a ten hour wait for my baggage......

    Somehow, l agree with you about Singapore Airlines...underwhelming. Flew on their A380 to SFO, the cabin crews were overwhelmed, rushing and they were working franticly.

      well, i've flown in worse flights other than SIA, when travelling to SFO via A380. The crew are not only frantic but they don't give a shit about you. Basically, humans are difficult to satisfy. When it is good, they expect better. When it has done better, they expect the best.

    Your a a true character! Not sure if I'd keep stating cabin lights ON during take off violates rules (Xiamen).
    Flown ANA twice and they are on 100% bright during the night take off. Others have reported the same.
    Would think ANA knows the rules?

    As a Canadian I am deeply ashamed of my airline. Everything from snappy sloppy flight attendants to baggage crew dropping suitcases 6 meters off the ground, to crappy food or no food at all, a total disgrace. Has the potential to be one of the best airlines in the world. A Canadian disgrace.

    Jet airways was a really good airline.. but were having some financial issues, that's why their planes weren't clean.. but overall they were nice.. and they also allowed filming... Btw nice video 👍

      No it's not. PIA made efforts to improve themselves while Air india in typical indian fashion is full of ego and superiority complex, continuously patting their own back and arrogantly badmouthing neighboring countries. someone who's confident in their own ability doesn't need to do that, just saying. meanwhile PIA and Biman bangladesh have quietly worked to improve themselves.
