Great video, I run a company that specializes in this service and this is exactly how you test the transmitter. One suggestion though would be to megger the flow tubes coil to ensure it hasn't been compromised. Also checking the tubes electrodes(process permitting) is a good idea too.
@@Nicofish2023 If you use a regular meter to check resistance the voltage used by the meter to measure resistance could be only a few volts. You might get a measurement from coil to ground showing there is no short. When using a megger at 500vdc it has the potential to check for shorts or breaks in insulation. Keep in mind some mag meters coil drive voltage is around 80-100vdc.
Hello Yogesh In this type of transmitter, you need to perform 3 points verification. You need to check mA output of transmitter at 0 fps, 3 fps, & 10 fps. mA output should be 4 mA at 0 fps, 7.86 mA at 3 fps, & 14.89 mA at 10 fps
@@InstrumentCalibration thanks for the reply. from did you get 4mA, 7.86mA, 14.89 mA? Any reference for this detail? . what about verification for Foundation fieldbus Tx?
@@InstrumentCalibration Or I should have asked you Can SMART Meter Verification or Manual SMART Meter Verification possible If Tx is blind (without LOI Display)? Appreciate your support.
Its amazing video...the channel has amazing content
Thank you...keep supporting us.
The video is clear and precise. Thanks.
Thanks for the comment . Much appreciated
We are posting couple of videos with similar in coming weeks .I hope those would be great help to you

Hello Dan
Thanks for your comment. Where do you run your company?
@@InstrumentCalibration My company is Tower Electronics Canada Inc and we're in Ontario Canada.
@@dmatchtechhello thanks. Please how to contact you. Need some help calibrating these transmitter .
Thanks. Instead of meggering it isn’t better to just check the resistance on it

Great. Please how to do calibration of this transmitter?
How can you perform verification on Blind transmitter ? (Tx without LOI)
