I have been plagued with this intermittent issue since about 3 months into owning the 2016 Camaro that I bought new! This has been so frustrating! I just ran across this video, and even though the problem isn't currently an issue for me, I tried this method to reboot. It definitely reboots while the system is working. The next time the screen goes blank or doesn't fully boot, I will definitely try this reboot! I almost want to see it fail just to try the reboot! Thanks in advance for posting this! As you stated, I had just seen other posts on here pointing to a wiring harness connector issue on other GM vehicles, but not a Camaro, so I would have no idea where to look. I hope that isn't my issue, and this reboot will be all I need. I have no idea where you found the key sequence for this, but THANK YOU AGAIN for sharing!!!!!!!
I knew there had to be a reset button combo, but after watching 3 videos telling me to hit my onstar talking guy icon and turning my car off for 2 min, I found you. Thanks so much!!!
This did nothing. My backlight is lit up, but the screen is blank. The audio still works, and the “buttons” on the screen do too if I can remember where they are located. This isn’t a 100% fix like you’re claiming, though I’m glad it worked for some people.

Another quick which help me when i was using the android auto sude was to just disconnect my Bluetooth which take about the same amount of time... 2916 Malibu ls 1.5...... i have the same issues on long road trips
Came back to say I tried multiple methods of fixing between resetting, changing fuses, messing with the battery but nothing worked. Had to go to the dealership to get a human interface module. My screen was black, Bluetooth/back up camera didn’t work, and radio would lock on a certain station and volume after 15 minutes of driving.
