Run Macros Automatically When Opening or Closing a Document in Word using autoopen & autoclose

  • Macros are so useful and big time savers and there are times we want to run them automatically when we open a document or close one.
    I've seen a number of complicated ways to do this but it is really as easy as giving a macro the correct name such as autopen and autoclose.
    Here in this video I show you how to do this and also create prompts using input boxes.

    Looking to play a song (audio) when Word docm (2007) is opened looked at this post but failed to translate to achieve what I need, any tips, very limited computer ability
