Never heard this Billy Murray record! He was 35 years old in 1913. He was born late December 1877. The same year Edison Invented the Phonograph!
Hi Bruce…I have this same model here at home, but my reproducer needs a little work. Do you know of anyone who could place a new seal on it? Thanks ahead of time, and thank you for this visit with you. :-)
Fascinating. Songs about sex obviously have been making the rounds for a long time. I find the understated ones, that is, ones that use metaphors like this song, even more shocking than the more modern explicit ones which often are just vulgar. It's like older dress styles that reveal less but, in doing so, accentuate more. Thanks for the upload.
So racy!
