    The particular fly trap that you're using works very well for us and is the best one I found for our purposes. This year I had to buy a competing brand because I couldn't find those and it works but not quite as well. They do have a very noticeable odor so you probably want to keep them at least 50 to 75 ft away from your living area. At that distance they will still definitely attract flies away from your living area.
    If you're needing to be super Thrifty save the entrance portion of that fly trap cut a hole in the plastic lid of a jar and glued it in place and put some nasty cat food in it with water. That way you can use it year after year with no additional expense.
    Even if you don't have a fly problem now keep a few of them on hand. In a societal breakdown more people are killed by pestilence than are killed by hostiles. Flies are the major source of pestilence.

    Jorge, How many south poll cattle do you have? or is just the bull the only one?
