When E. Gadd says that he "got someone to do testing", he means the past version of himself. Back when in Luigi's Mansion 1, when he communicated with you, the past version of you, the background is most likely in Dark Moon, when he was testing Gooigi. Then finally, in Luigi's Mansion 3, he gives you Gooigi, after being tested.
plus the "someone" seems to be in the same colour as luigis name so it makes it even more clearer that it was luigi from the past that helped him test it

Personally I've always been more about exploring. Loving the pace, it's perfect.
Here's some tips Zack:
1. Remember the first laundry room with the gem in the washer? Go back and suction cup it.
2. After watering the flowers, use the charged flash to technically give them light.
Ok, sorry for spelling Zack's name wrong. Sue me, ok?
And he should use the plumber thingy on the one chest to slam it onto the bed. That'll uncover the cash.

Yeah! in dark moon, there were these purple flowers that if you hold down A or just flashed your light at the flower, then it would open up. In the Gloomy Manor ( 1st mansion in Dark Moon) there was one purple flower that if you flashed your light on it, then it would spit out a gem. Maybe you can try that with thoes flowers.
Side note: I wanna see you put the golf ball in the hole :)

To get that gem dark light a door i just realized that the fan in the laundry you can use guigi Zack doesn't realize to make a door with dark light/me I do remember you can make a door with dark light i forgot when you unlock guigi the only first boss is polter pup jk oh its gooigi
