Jeremy, I was actually born and raised in Pflugerville. Grew up in Blackhawk, then bought a house here in Blackhawk back in 2018. Looking to upgrade into our second home as our family grows and prices have more than doubled in 4 years. No idea as to what we should do. Anyways, thanks for highlighting my hometown and neighborhood!

Thanks! I really like the area. Prices in all of Austin have pretty much doubled. You are in the same boat as a lot of people. It’s time to upgrade, yet you’re spending a lot more. Good thing is if you are selling. You are selling for a lot more than you would’ve. Which means you have a good chunk to put down. Unfortunately rates are a lot higher.

I live in Carmel down the street, we are looking to sell our house and move. Bought the home in 2019. You think it would be a good idea to sell in this market?

I think it depends on what you’re wanting to do after you sell the home. If you are looking to stay in the Austin area? Then I think it will be a challenge to find another home in this area. If you’re selling and moving outside of the area? Then I think it’s a very good play. To sell. That is exactly what my clients did. They had a newer home. We sold it and they made a lot of money. And moved to Houston.
