Slower....shouldn't it be More slowly... Adverb?
In formal writing, more slowly would be better, in speaking, people often use both slower and faster as adverbs (probably because we don’t say more fastly, so slower matches faster)
Speak slower, go slower, go faster here, drive slower is very commonly used in speaking, hope that helps!
Hi teachers, why grab instead of drink?
"Grab" a drink is a more casual and friendly collocation.
"Would you like to [have a drink] sometime?"
"Would you like to [grab a drink] sometime?" Both have the same meaning, but "grab" is more casual. We don't want to put too much pressure on the other person!

Hey guys , hopefully you’ll answer my question: Would you like to hang out sometime?” What’s the vowel sound in AmE of the verb”hang” does it have a vowel sound as in “black cat” or “day”? Dictionaries say it’s the same sound as in “black cat” but a TH-camr teacher says that the -ang, -ank combination sound like /ei/ …😮

👆 The first one sentence is simple present tense, why the second one sentence use past continuous tense ? 😂
Great question! “I was thinking we could…” is a very polite and common way to offer some of your opinions as choices to the other person.
“I was thinking we could go to movies later?”
“I was thinking we could start cleaning the kitchen then the living room.”
This is what I was thinking… what about you what do you think about this?
