i just love the gym❤ it’s like somewhere i go to get all of the bad energy out. somehow when i have the most anxiety, i also have the best gym progress because i could go twice a day just to feel something and not think. it’s literally my comfort place. idc if i lose weight or if i grow, the gym feels good.

Hang in there!! Does your school have a gym you can use for free? Usually schools have some sort of gym that students are allowed to use and you don’t have to pay. Might be worth looking into ☺️.

To be honest I needed this, this is my 3rd week off and thats because of exams and my 2 lil brothers are very sick. Also lost lots of friends so I just lost motivatiom to even go outside. This made me wanr to go to gym tmmr.
I stopped lifting weights a few years ago and focused solely on hiking because nature was more beneficial for my mental health than the gym environment at the time. i broke my arm so a few weeks off is in order :( i want to get back to at least only doing leg machines and stuff with my good arm asap but dont feel up for it yet. i'm so bummed. hope i won't lose all of my strength
Do you have tips for setting up and putting down heavy dumbbells for dumbbell bench press? I am doing my first Alive challenge and when I do the dumbbell bench I feel like I going to kill myself sitting back up with those weights!
It might be better to plan what exercises you want to do instead of planning to stay for a certain window of time. Once you know what you want to do (this will depend on your goals. There are a few videos out there about it which might be helpful) just stay until you’ve completed all of your reps. That way you won’t be sitting around awkwardly realizing you don’t know what to do but you don’t feel like you can leave yet
I have been on my workout kick for about two months now at home nothing crazy but when I take a day off, I feel like I lose a little progress I’ve made instantly does anyone know how long it actually takes?
