It's a runner, like the fire team name says. By switching the center of gravity back, she will wheelie. You can steer over terrain on the rear two wheels. That's exactly what the design is. If nosing over is your issue, don't ramp up on full power, leave a little trigger to pull the nose up. It isn't a trick truck, it's an attack/evade vehicle. It does that job amazingly well on almost any surface. Good vid guys.
I scaled back on sending bashing latley but what I used do was use 5/16 threaded rod through 3/8 tubing in between the towers nut and washers and you can adjust the tension you like . Makes really hard to bend a chassis but does put more strain on shock towers the 3/8 tubing with little polish looks really nice . My original outcast has it and I polished all axles to match
I love my fireteam. I noticed y'all never mentioned the punch settings. I keep my punch on 9. The factory punch is 4. If you change the punch to 9 it becomes a whole nother animal
If Arrma sold this RC equipped with a more regular body for ~$150 cheaper then I'd maybe have considered it. As it stands it's a parts bin special with a fancy body being sold at a premium price.
Just picked it up today. Id give the price a score of 100. for $399 can't really beat that. Liked the look but was not going to pay $700 for it. But the price of a 3s. Got me.
Hey guys, love the channel, love the thorough reviews!! I just picked up one of these for the black Friday price of 399. After watching your reviews and trying to determine if it was worth it, at 750, maybe not so much, but at 399, I had to do it. I don’t know if this is a permanent price reduction, or just for a limited time. My question is how do you feel about the value at this new price point?
So I recently got an XMAXX (used). But this truck barely wheelies. Should I change just the spur gear, just the pinion gear or both? I'm not looking for speed runs just for the xmaxx to wheelie like my big rock does!!! I'm also running the truck on 6s because I only own 3s batteries. Thank you kindly in advance for your time.
Running on 6s is the issue, or should be. The car, if it is an 8s rig needs 8s to get with it. The thing should be fun on 6s but really needs that juice to get that old adrenaline pumping. AJ
AJ & Rob, thank you for doing this video. I love the look of the Fireteam and was set to buy it, but I’m going to pass on it. You guys made some really helpful comments about the durability and especially versatility that made me rethink my next purchase. My problem now is which to buy next for my collection. I have to V1 Max’s and a Kraton that has all the upgraded M2C parts. I was thinking the EXB outcast. I look to see if you guys have reviewed that one yet. Feel free to make any suggestions
We have access to a notorious 6S and it’s basically the same thing as the outcast. If you like stunt trucks that can’t help but keep their front wheels in the air that car would probably be a good fit for you. But with a Kraton 6s in your paddock already you already have one of the best cars for that application. The question is, what is it you really want? Thanks for asking, I hope this helps.😎👍
Are u guys don’t buy at Jenny’s rc,direct purchase and really quick shipping.just saying I always hear u talking about eBay only.but hey is not are money.keep up the good work and God Bless u guys
We shop wherever we find good deals to keep the costs down. It just seems that we find the best deals on eBay. To be honest, eBay is usually our go to because of the diverse company support on that platform. It is not uncommon to buy from a main vendor on eBay once in a while. We've seen our products arrive in Amazon boxes straight from eBay. We've even gotten Horizon Hobby stuff there. I just think that's cool. However, we always look for the deal, "if" the shipping time is not too long. Thanks for commenting. 😎👍

Once again a very informative, and unbiased review. I have been on the fence about purchasing one. Because of your video, this will be my next rc.
Thank you. Glad we could help. 😎👍
Your videos are really helping me make decisions

Oh hey guys . You can still talk and give close up shots of the car. It is information. Someone not having the car would really like.

For that price the rig is a win. I wish we'd gotten ours at that price. Thanks for commenting. 😎👍

Servos break slot from not calibrating radio and car for max turn. But not all cars let you get that deep like an xmaxx with wireless module

The felony is ridiculously fun. Great handling and tires are amazing. A real muscle car feel, and the sound just does it for me.
Great videos guys a
AJ you have alot of kratons man 1 8s scale an 3 6s ones right
Actually, one of the 6s Kratons belongs to Rob. I guess that means I only have 2 Kraton 6s cars, one if the EXB version. Thanks for commenting. 😎👍
How did you get avc in it?
We added a 6 channel receiver to it. Thanks for asking 😎👍
My fire team didn't come with a v c

Rob needs to be more involved. Be a true “color man” lol. But love these
That’s awesome. I will pass that along to him. Thanks for commenting 😎👍
yea you gotta make Rob in the bids more🎉
Yep.......lose that rear servo.....its completely useless. I did move my battery tray back and installed a 14T pinion.
It doesn't have AVC
Ours does. We installed the 6 channel receiver. 👍
It doesn't have gyro
Avc
Ours does
Kraton body is not even a full body. Plus the paper thin gage.
Other than that awful body shell it’s doesn’t look to much different to a Kraton
Those are ugly tires.
They do work well though 😎👍
@@AJJAMStudios I like the Kraton wheels and tires. They are priced well too.
As do I. The Kraton tires work in a lot of situations. They're tough, and fairly inexpensive compared to aftermarket tires. Thanks for commenting. 😎👍
