Yeah for me this one is 10/10 and perfect model kit. For some it may be too big which is understandable. Can't wait to have them all assembled and on the display :). And about next review - I really hope that FAZZ will not disappoint as this is my holy grail of Gunpla.
thank you for the thorough review. I had to order one after seeing this. Do you have any problem with the arm joints? I watched another video where the arm joint broke, but the guy said maybe it was do to him painting it.,
Hi Rick, thank you for your comment! No problems at all with joints. You just should be careful with them at first moves to see the range of movement to not damage them. But overall this is a very solid kit. You will be happy with it!
Great review. Especially considering you mentioned the battery pack in the back. I ordered this kit recently but my LR44 batteries won't be here for some time and I was worried it wouldn't be possible to install or change them after building.

This is a regular Bandai stand base plus a “scissor” holder with adapter that you can find with some kits like MG Unicorn for example. A lot of companies made this type of thing for action bases so you can buy one separately. Normally I’m not using this type of holding “scissors” but here it was a perfect fit for balance.
@@gundamartz I was looking at the action bases after I saw your video. I found some but the didn't include the scissors. The ones had scissors were the action base 4, but they they had two pieces for the stand instead of a straight one like yours. Just wondering if that would be able to hold it up.
@@Char-Aznable-UC-0059basically yes because stand here is just to keep balance and not the weight of the entire kit. So everything with the scissor idea will work and help to maintain the balance with some more advanced poses.
Shinji's mom looks pretty good in corset armor. Just saying, not all women could pull off that look. Been seeing lots of Evangelion takes lately. I'd posit the reason it was great was because it was original, the animation was very good (the way the 100-200 meter tall EVAs sprint looked insane) and the story was never boring. Why it's a classic or supposedly great today, I can't really tell you. EVAs and plug suits are great and all, the over arching themes are special and the ideas are good, but the show has aged and has some major flaws, not in the least its infamously disliked ending. It's great unironic edgy 90's content, but I see people claim that it's a mecha show that isn't about the mecha, but that's nonsense seeing as none of the major shows ever focused more on them than the characters and themes. As a model it looks great. There are some seam lines I don't like (upper arms) and I'm not a fan of the red teeth, but I dig the updated scheme and the LED's look good. I think I'd be happy to own this.
Can't agree with you more my friend. Im into the 90s anime much so for me it still looks great overall(semi nostalgia but let's be honest. Hand drawn anime era was top and always will be in 99% times if it comes to look for me). The plot and how it is directed is always subjective. Some will like it some will not but overall for me story was top notch as it reflected a lot from my own personal life. I need to rewatch Rebuilds as still I'm not sure what I'm thinking about them. I liked them after first watch but do I love them? Dunno. Need to rewatch and analyze. About the model - the upper arm seamline that is big and visible(I spotted it right now on video if we talk about the same spot) was my fault. Parts separated a little after fall or when I posed it(if there are any visible seemliness that looks like parts don't fit right it's the same case). Normally it fits perfectly. You can always eliminate them by yourself to have perfect perfect look but need to be repainted after unfortunately... So Im leaving the trio as they are - they truly looks beautiful, the finish is perfect and I am lazy😆. I'm planning to do 01 1.5ver custom - will go to change it for unit 03 or 04 color scheme and face look, with some crazy little diorama(will call it the space eater project🤣). Dunno yet where it will go but I really want to do custom job of this one. I truly recommend it to you my friend - it's a pleasure to assemble and to look at - even with couple flaws here and there with the "inner frame" of the main body that can be loose some times. It is worth every penny and Bandai should do PG 2.0 of EVA - I'm curious if they would do it better. What's most important - this kit is something truly colossal in person and I watched every review/showcase material that was available and nothing can show the presence you meet in person with this thing.
@@insansiregar6158honestly, Evangelion’s are supposedly much bigger than Gundam. That’s why RG Eva don’t have “RG 1/144” anymore, it’s just “RG” , so the scale of Eva’s is really weird. The Good Smile Moderoid are like 1/200 or something? I’m not even sure the MENG has a scale, the Eva’s are all the same size with each other, but they aren’t scale accurate compared to Gundams. You’d have to look more into that!
True dat. Still good to have so much hands here. Not perfect but better than just one pair :) And they look very alive, so also plus for that for posing. Only complain is the color and nub marks for me.
I love the fact it’s taller than certain perfect grades and demands attention. I’m looking forward to the next review.

Only gripe I have about this is for the size it is I think it should have individually posable fingers Instead of many pairs of hands
