If she can reply, what does she think happened? Who was the ancestor? How was the scam planned? Where did the money that appeared in the suitcase come from? Was there someone behind the "wallpaper / boards" in the prayer room?
The ancestor was actually Kevin, the friend. These guys work as a syndicate and this is how they make their living. They treat these scams as a full-time job. Ofcause there was a person behind the boards who was acting as a bank and they use witchcraft to make the money from nowhere. These guys a criminals they documents used to rent a house are fake. I realised that if I opted to see the ancestors maybe I could have been dead now.😢
Usually there's someone behind the boards and they use mobile phones. This was experienced by some people in Botswana and the police cracked the case because people were scammed through the small roundavel house by foreigners

Yhoo this story struck a nerve for me. Was scammed by my ex fiance, convinced me to take a loan for him R50k and he was going to pay me my monthly repayments. He changed into something i didn't know afterwards and asked me to leave him alone to live his life. Hhhheee the depression I had, i couldn't sleep, I was breaking down in public, had to repay a loan i didn't spend a cent, i couldn't speak about it for a long time. Men really hates us 😢
😢 I’m sorry you had to go through that, I almost did the same but thank God I thought quickly about what if he decides not to pay and lied to him and told him I don’t qualify
Was also asked by a foreign bf to get him a 50k loan and that he will pay me monthly, yhooo my antennas were not having it. Mind you i had borrowed him r500 he never paid back. I dumped him for that and he had no shame. 3 years later said he wanted to see me, bastard still did not give me the money, thought he could sweet talk me. Imagine if I had gone to the banks... I can say God really spared me coz I would never have survived.
When Owamie first told us of her intention to speak to victims who have been scammed she mentioned how this is to educate women out there. All these guests bringing their stories are not stupid but brave to let us in on the kind of things people are ashamed to talk about that happen behing closed doors. Just because something has not happened to you yet does not mean your smarter, we don'tknow if we will come across this but in a different way it might not be a love scam but a business one. Lets show empathy to other women who decide to share or those women who are in our lives in the same situations. Lets be kinder to each other. Thank you Owamie for bringing to life this idea, it will help a lot of us or remind us to be careful, some are even scammed by their current husbands or family members and dont know and will wake up too late.
You just spot on and that's why other people end up committing suicide because they were told that were foolish or desperate for love but forgetting that we all need love no matter who you are or what you have .
He was not praying, he just, wanted to blind u, becareful of foreigners, theyr using Vodoos, don't be too desperate to hv a man , one day they will secrify u
Hi Jabu , am so sorry to hear that this happened to you. It could have happened to anyone, 60% of women are love scammed these days because literally men have become weak. They don't want to work, they don't want to go to school, they want soft life... Men are even giving themselves to other men for money, that's the generation of men left... I know multiple ladies, beautiful, smart and educated get love scemmed by their boyfriends, baby daddies, fiancé's and husbands.. These men can be met anywhere, church, work, malls, restaurants, funerals, weddings etc. These men have plans in place to swindle women, they don't target broke women, they target single, devorced and financially able women. I'll give you one example, in Namibia one guy impersonating to be a doctor, rents out an AMG dating women all over the country, Wears a stethoscope everyday going to work, but goes to other women's houses Engaging and proposing all of them, telling them he's a Christian and does not date, marriage only, so engagements before you meet the parents... These women took out loans to fund His lifestyle... Luckly for us, Namibia is a small populated country , everyone follows each other, and he did not go far. They exposed him on Twitter and was published in the National paper, by the way he only dated: business women, doctor, lawyers, nurses, teachers, CEOs.. To mention a few. Thank you for opening so many eyes, I hoe this video reaches a million views coz this is a loud message that needs to be heard by all women.. Women now stay with men who only need money and accomodation from their women, is that not love scammed? Love and light
My advise to to you girls is: when you do not have a circle of people you can trust around. Find a guy to talk to who is older, it can be a security guard or cleaner, it does not matter what their level of education is but guys know the guys language. They will be able to tell you when something is off very quickly and the good thing is they will not repeat the stuff you tell them cause they dont care but you will get the advise that will help you in the future, especially when starting a new relationship and you not sure if the person is legit or not, a guy will listen to the story and straight away tell you that the person is a phony or not.
You were hypnotized my sister this is the second time i hear such story it's sad how this foreign men come in our country and scam poor women..it's sickening and disgusting 🤢
I was watching another show where they sacrifice their girlfriend and its happening a lot in that country I got so worried about our girls ngoba they are always the victims' girls be careful be prayerfully when u dealing with these people
There was no muti..this guy has all time ro plan and open sceiptures. Guys there was no dlozi. You cant serve God and ancestors at the same time. These are first class crooks..even renting a house so they can appear legit..of u do your investgation, you will discover that the house belongs to another girlfriend who is their victim.

This story is 100% like mine. Mine he was from Dawn Park but originally fron Zanzibar but immediately when I was told to resign and give a portion of my funds, that's where it ended and he was so furious, he actually turned red.
Nokuthi this thing is new. You meet a nice guy and think let me try and yhoooo!! Women please it's time stop thinking you will find someone, it's just not working for us. We need to be at peace with living our whole lives "alone" with a community of other women.
You should there's nothing wrong with that, the problem is not being true to your own self, and it is impossible to be true to self if one is blinded by material already
The same thing happened in polokwane and two people are arrested and are going to court on the 18th of December for bail application. Please come to polokwane High Court on the 18th and check if the same person
Can’t stress how important it is to have a community (friends and family) you share your life with, especially about romantic partners man. They are sometimes able to pick up things we can’t because of the cloud 9 we usually in. Yoh bandla
What that guy did is called love bombing. Love bombing is a tactic in which someone “bombs” you with extreme displays of attention and affection with the intent to manipulate you. This is why he was able to scam her. What a disgusting vile human being and I hope she gets justice. She’s such a sweet lady and I hope everything goes well. I cant believe how similar our stories are, i met his "mom and uncle" in December. He was "blessed" with 20 million, each told to take 400 and give to the needy. I bailed out when he pressurised me to resign from work, he became very impatient when i didn't do so immediately!
Glad you escaped😢😢😢, wish people had shared their experiences to alert others but again social media is something else people choose to insult you for being scammed.
Thank you for sharing your story. I was also scammed some thousand of rands -R100000 in 2022. It might be the same guy who is operating in the Eastrand around Brakpan/ Benoni/Spring. The police were after him it's clear that he has scammed a lot of women. Luckily I back off when his ancestors told me that must resign and open the account. On that week I had an unusual dream I saw my late dad in my dream shaking his head and I believe that he was warning me about something. When I didn't do what was required he blocked me. I went to his place to check whether he still stays there. He was gone and his landlord told me a different name and that he told them that he is going back to Ruwanda. Only to find out that he was still around Lakeside Mall. He drives a Merc C class well build , good looking will call you always a😢😢😢nd has all the respect but guess what he is big scammer. Hoping one day he will be arrested as we are still tracing him. 😢
Aybo girl what was his name...this sounds so similar to mine but I spotted red flags early, played along until i told him I have been observing him for some time now so I know you are a liar and scam...you not getting a cent from me go to hell...he tried calling i ignored the call, sent him a long whatsap of all the loop holes that I have been noticing all along .
We can judge and say whatever we wanna say but this is one strong woman, i envy her for who she is coz she's still going far in life and she will achieve more than what she lost.
I consider myself a smart person but I know this could have easily been me. I am pathologically trusting of people, and I like to be respectful of people's beliefs...could have been me. Thank you Jabulile for sharing your story. I am so sorry this happened to you

Welldone Owamie for affording people such a platform to speak out, encouraging them and literally holding their hands through reliving such traumatic experiences . For spreading awareness and discouraging victim blaming.🎉 I salute you my queen. Both of you
As Women we should have a solid support network, friends and relatives that we can reach out to when meeting a new partner. Woman friends are excellent at reading / assessing character and red flags 🚩 it is very sad to see bad things happen to good people.
I totally agree with you. However it's not everyone who admits the signs and red flags! Personally i tried warning my friend against her newly found love that ended up scamming her more that R300 000 but she would justify his actions until she got burnt real hard. It's very sad.
The story is exactly the same as my colleague, This is a network, they operate everywhere in my colleagues case they suggested she sells the house and furniture and she refused, she also had the same feeling of being hijacked and dint save him from his car trouble. We just watched show and we were both in tears she feels a bit better naw, she is still paying off the debts even naw. She also got a similar response from police a silent laugh. Stay strong your kids need you. From Limpopo
I like what Owamie said, no matter how smart you think you are, if you’re operating from a point of lack of info they MAY outsmart you. It’s many heads coming together to scam you (one person). I commend ppl that come out to share. I hope this woman pulls through and come out of this stronger.
This is my situation right now but I’m not yet scammed. I felt it’s too good to be true and started Googling about awakening ancestors and I’m shocked right now. Owamie please share Jabus contact or your contact with me so that I can share more. I’m scared to share my numbers on this page. This is scary and I believe is a syndicate. You might use me to get this guys if it’s what they also trying to scam me as well. We need to stop them before they scam and break more women emotionally and financially 😢😢😢
I went through exactly the same thing but I was so stubborn and kept on asking questions and not agreeing to this bag thing. He got angry because I said no to his ancestors to come and do whatever was supposed to be done with the bag. 50% of this story is exactly like what I've experienced. I was scammed 6k . All I can say to our sister those people use muthi.
I'm not as bold as most of your guest but all I can say ladies stay away from dating apps . That's were most of the fishing and scammers are happening. This people are a group it's not a one man show. And they brain wash you and use some muthi on you, that's why u fall in love so fast.

Thank you for the eye opening video, this curse had definitely gone rampant and undettered in our country. A friend of mine went to withdraw her pension under similar circumstances, a locked prayer room, with talking ancestors, a promise of s great return. But the message you should assist in driving home Owamie is that, us ladies must observe a man very closely, And NEVER trust a stranger so quickly, and STOP giving money to strangers. Period.
This solidifies the fact that these people use spells haaa no way. She is such a cute, smart and independent woman. Yes sometimes we are blinded by love as women but our sister here was on spell yho. This guy was beyond evil bathong! God will deal with him and that half a million will come back tripple sis ❤
Am Kenyan. I think many South Africans are incredibly gullible. This cannot happen to a Kenyan. I recall a time so many South Africans died in a collapsed building in Nigeria where they had gone to worship. Unbelievable! Why would a large number of people cross many countries to go to another to warship God?!!
Owamie, this lady deserves justice. Can you not open some back a buddy type of account for us to contribute towards legal fees. This is injustice! The fact that the police aren’t helping is a disgrace? To say the least. Or maybe one of the ninjas could offer their legal expertise pro bono, umntu ngumntu ngabantu guys ♥️♥️
My sister was friends with somone who said he was from DRC while I was working for the bank. He used to say South Africans are stupid and my sister believed him for a while, and we used to argue about that. She said the guy use to ask about me, he wanted to go to the US but had lost his "millions" now he was looking for someone working for the bank who would just add one zero in his bank statement so it looked like he had a lot of money. My sister would tell him not only did I abhor criminal activity but I was a staunch Christian who would get him arrested immediately. For some time I thought this guy must have been joking, but later after some years of "breaking" up with my sister, hearing other shocking stories we now believe the guy was not joking. I am glad my sister did not even consider seriously discussing that with me.

What I've come to realise from all these episodes is: 1. Tinder has some very hungry men. 2. When you meet a man and you are a home owner please tell them you are renting it. 3. Look at the love bombing to being a possible red flag. 4. Be cautious, dont be pressurised by these men. Ya, some one else please add on to this list if there is anything else women need to be aware of. Also, can we share this video so that more women are aware of these scammers modus operandi
I almost fell for it as well but luckily, I always listen to my inner voice as I'm a spiritual person. I should thank my ancestors for it. I used to hate that my mom decided to halt ny calling at a very tender age and thanks to it I can't remember my dreams as I literally see evil and it made me sick hence the decision to halt it. Unfortunately she passed on soon after and the priest did too. Now I only rely on my inner voice which is always spot on
So sorry to hear about your ordeal sisi. He's heartless, he even made you sing before scamming you. You've got a beautiful singing voice by the way... Remain strong, you will bounce back and don't blame yourself.
Praying for all single parents, men like this prey on their loneliness and the pressure and desperation to be with someone, that was a very sad story, trust should be earned guys and ladies should love themselves more ,not every man who prophesses love you truly loves you
I'm a third-year law student at UCT, and I want to express my sympathy, sis. While I may not fully understand how law enforcement operates, I believe that if this man is arrested and you secure proper legal representation, you can achieve justice. I'm deeply affected by this situation, and I pray that my studies are blessed so I can assist people like you. What happened is clear fraud, a serious crime, and what we call a delict that may entitle you to compensation. However, the issue lies in the failure of our law enforcement in apprehending the person responsible.

I'll give you one example, in Namibia one guy impersonating to be a doctor, rents out an AMG dating women all over the country,
Wears a stethoscope everyday going to work, but goes to other women's houses
Engaging and proposing all of them, telling them he's a Christian and does not date, marriage only, so engagements before you meet the parents...
Hi there homey... I love your sentiment.
Never trust someone who left his or her country that person really means business.
It’s 100%
This comment is primitive yho 😢
My advise to to you girls is: when you do not have a circle of people you can trust around. Find a guy to talk to who is older, it can be a security guard or cleaner, it does not matter what their level of education is but guys know the guys language. They will be able to tell you when something is off very quickly and the good thing is they will not repeat the stuff you tell them cause they dont care but you will get the advise that will help you in the future, especially when starting a new relationship and you not sure if the person is legit or not, a guy will listen to the story and straight away tell you that the person is a phony or not.
Wow, I love this comment 👏

Can’t stress how important it is to have a community (friends and family) you share your life with, especially about romantic partners man. They are sometimes able to pick up things we can’t because of the cloud 9 we usually in. Yoh bandla
What that guy did is called love bombing.
Love bombing is a tactic in which someone “bombs” you with extreme displays of attention and affection with the intent to manipulate you.
This is why he was able to scam her. What a disgusting vile human being and I hope she gets justice. She’s such a sweet lady and I hope everything goes well. It’s sad to say that most human beings don’t come with the right intentions and we have to guard our hearts. I hate it!!!

I admire her for sharing her story with so much ease and smiles and my wish for her is healing and restoration.
❤❤
@@jabunxumalo2111I hope you heal. I think your story is the same as mine.

Hello Jabu
I am from India, very touched by your story which has badly affected you in every thing be it financially, mentally and I understand it will be very hard for you to trust any one so easily
Ms Owamie , Is the Queen that she is 👑👑👑
I am so glad that these conversations are being had because if we stay silent, the perpetrators win so I am glad we are making things uncomfortable for them and giving push back. Well done to this lady
Thank you my love❤️
This is the lousiest line of scamming I have ever heard of and the fact that anyone would actually fall for it is shocking. I am sorry this happened to her and glad she is sharing her story for potential victims to learn from. Women, if it doesn't feel right, run. Stop trying to change all red flags into green flags
I wish she would also take some accountability, her love of money and love bombing was what got her.
@lo6291 exactly. She doesn't believe in ancestors, but this guy tagged her along with his team of ancestral scammers and she went along because money was involved
I’m still at 42min but based on what she’s saying so far how was she to know? 😩 who is this “father”? And why is she able to speak to him.. yoohhh! Leme continue watching.. maybe the answer is at the end 😂🤣
@domitilamukuba1933 I know right, so bizarre
They do muti on the person to stop thinking
I must say I thoroughly enjoyed this story.
Well done sisi for telling your story as painful as it is , and same to you Ninja for covering this story.
