Hi Peter! So I have both the 405 and 505 paired with the Rouge ST max LS head. I have tried all the top shafts from fujikura, graphite design and mitsubishi and the autoflex blows them all away. The thing is with the autoflex shaft, the 505 seems to be more stable and provide less left and right dispersion, but not quite as long as the 405. So I usually start off with the 405 and around the 10th hole switch to the 505 once warmed up. My swing speed has slowed over the years (I'm 62) down to about 95mph. I remember the days when 300 yards was very good drive. Today a 240-250 yard shot is a great drive. As you mentioned, one of the side effects of playing the autoflex, is that you have to deliver a smooth tempo swing. It almost forces you to play within yourself. And in reality, that is a very good thing. My swing thought on the tee is: take it easy, nice smooth swing. It's amazing how much better you hit it when you're not trying to be a gorilla. With all that being said, damn, feel like I have to get one of the bravas and give it a go. Great review, albeit costly!
@@Lawsurf1 yes, i play with friends who don't care what i do with my driver shaft. that being said, I am going to get the brava to see if it fits in the middle and will work for the whole round.
Hi Peter! So I got the brava shaft in regular flex. I would compare it to the sf505 as far as dispersion and distance. I get more yards from the sf405, but after I warm up, I lose it to the right. So now I play the 405 for about 9 holes and switch to the brava. I seem to have more control with the brava. It's like point and shoot. The brava is a great shaft as good as the NX speeder or even the ventus tr for me.
I bought one (stiff) and have a 102 mph ss. This thing has a very nice dispersion and I’ve had some really long drives. I play it in a Srixon ZX5 at 10 degrees.
Graphene is a new development in golf materials…first you waste money buying these exotics type shafts…get lessons, develop healthy plyometric routine, consistent swing…55g shafts and find out kickpoint matches best your swing dynamics…save yourself a car payment
Any update on this? I’m thinking about buying the stiff shaft from Brava at launch. But I just hit a 310yd drive yesterday against the wind… now I’m skeptical about the Brava shaft
@@petervonpandaok i am torn right now in which one to buy. My swing speed is 92-93. So original was leaning towards auto flex until i watched this video. Can’t wait to see the S TO R comparison of the Brava. Thanks for responding!!!
@@petervonpanda Any update on this yet? Please do a video update comparing the Brava stiff vs regular. I think a lot of people are in between those two flexes.
So I’ve been gaming the AF for a few years. My swing speed was 88/89 before the AF. Now after the AF, I can occasionally hit 99 but I probably average closer to 93/94. Started with the 405 and found it had too much spin. Changed to the 505 and I am super happy with it. Both give great dispersions. Like Peter mentioned in the video, if you have a consistent repetitive swing, AF could be a great fit. Last year, my average tournament Fairway % was 77%. The 505 got me to drop from an 8 to a 5.4 last year. Played 150 rounds too! So why is they important? The AF is easy on the back! Playing that many rounds can cause body pains. AF aids in that! But….all that being said, I’m curious about this shaft! Can it be longer? I’d like to see data from a consistent golfer to truly see if it’s the shaft or the perfect marriage of golfer’s swing/shaft.
Peter love the content, but The Mobile Clubmaker all ready busted the myth of the overpriced Autoflex, smoke and mirrors shaft with a Fujikura senior flex shaft.
I just got the brava today and went to the driving range. Didn't gain no distance or speed from Brava. Sorry a waste of money for me. My factory shaft on my tsr3 does the same thing so go figure

Just got fitted and bought one today. Can't wait to try it out!
Hope you enjoy it! And drop some bombs!!
Thanks Peter. Gonna give the Brava a try. Your videos are really enjoyable and informative. Keep it up!

Brilliant Peter really a fantastic review sold
Hi Peter..
Was the comparison done at 46” as well?
PvP going to make golfwrx go crazy 🤪 keep bringing the golf content brother!
You should look into the Bushnell Launch Pro. It’s spot on for accuracy.
It looks amazing! I just wish it was a smidge cheaper!
Thanks Peter, appreciate the review!
My pleasure!
Have a Brava on order - we shall see !
Was wondering about this shaft. I’m buying it. Thank u PVP
@PVP What were the average peak heights and spin #'s of the balls with each of the shafts? Thanks.
Great review. How does the BGT Brava compare to these?
Do you still play an autoflex fairway wood shaft and which one? Thanks
Interesting video. What's your swing speed?
CLUBHEAD speed is right about 88-90 mph
I bought a Nunchuk shaft for my fairway woods. Great shaft. I wanted to put one in my driver but PVP can you do test on it before I do it?
So Peter have u tried the new free flex shaft also from Korea apparently it’s the hot stick on the block
Ro, I just did! I have a video coming next week on it!!!!
@@petervonpanda wow that was quick ok great looking forward to it thank you
You need to watch Dr. Kwon's videos on TH-cam and do his drills. There's no reason someone as young and strong as you should be hitting it so short.
PvP. Did they recommend a certain length for driver?
Great video..
Annnnnd Ordered it

I'd rather have a 45 inch PVC pipe for a shaft , then spending 800 dollars for one, that you might get a big 15 yards out of
