- Bò lá lốt - You know some times things are just meant to be. First place I wanted to go was closed, but then it was so easy to hop just to a simple little spot next door and wouldn't you know it, it was really good! Sister added so much fried and dried shallots and "butter" sauce, that it forsure had to be good!

I love Bò Nướng Lá Lốt. The simplicity and the complexity of this dish by cooking over charcoals, eating with the rice papers, Bún, herbs and vegetables dipping in Mắm Nêm are just out of this world.

Ở Miền Nam Sài Gòn bò cuống lá lốp rất là đúng nghĩa món ăn này nhìn thấy đơn giản nhưng rất cầu kỳ nó đòi hỏi rất nhiều nguyên liệu không giống như ở ngoài miền bắc đâu nem nướng lá lốp sao mà ngon bằng bò lá lốp được max rivieu món ăn đúng chất người miền nam rất ok

That whole meal for 2 including the ice tea is 84 k VND which is about $4. I like your show a lot because you only order what you can eat. Some of the other foodies would order way too much food and only take a few bites from each dish.

I love bò lá lốt with bánh mì with kim chi, i bought some bánh mì early in the morning one time and had some bò lá lốt left overs from dinner before, i felt kinda hungry one night so i just made this simple dish, it was so delicious.. so glad bò lá lốt is so versatile. 😊

Responding to everything with “đúng rồi” sounds as awkward as someone responding to everything with “precisely”. Just say “dạ”.
You can certainly use “đúng rồi” when confirming correct information, but when someone asks if you want lots of an herb, it’d be weird to say “precisely” or “correct”. Sounds a little… robotic? 😳

Yea there's a lot of different banh trang in VN. I remember as a kid my mom would toast up some sweet banh trang over charcoal and it would puff up. There's also this opaque white banh trang that I ate as a snack that was a bit leathery. I think it's called bánh tráng sữa.
