Probably because everybody is gonna want to ride it and probably wanna ride it twice and that would add on and the wait time probably would be three or five hours.
They didn’t build a queue big enough to support wait times beyond 1 hour (which is laughable knowing they’ve been doing it for years, and yet keep making this mistake) so they need VC to ensure the line doesn’t extend too far out of the queue, which is something that still happens sometimes despite the VC system.

Nobody wants to pay extra just for the chance to cross their fingers and hope.
Cool so from the uk. I can’t prebook lightning lanes which everyone else can in USA and can’t get both VQ’s. So I just can’t go on both rides now? Absolutely fantastic
There’s lots of challenges and disappointments with the ride system. Yesterday at Epcot we couldn’t get LLs for both Remy and Frozen. Impossible. And far too hot to stand in queue for 90 minutes. I do think the parks seem much more crowded even as prices skyrocket. Even though the $99 annual started the AP craze in Anaheim, the first few years of it wasn't so bad. Disney hadn't yet gotten the locals to think of it as a must have. I recall long lines being a half hour. Space might get to 60. Then after the AP craze was in full swing and the 50th was pretty successful, it seemed like FastPass (even the version I preferred in CA) and crowds were just making standby waits longer than ever. I don't know if there is more artificial scarcity in reduced Park hours (I used to remember being at Magic Kingdom until midnight) or what, but I certainly think more people are going than ever. And that's with the prices going up and up and up.

The Tron ride sucks. It lasts on minute.
Do you expect roller coasters to last 30 minutes?
@@TVTIME-be8zeVelocicoaster and Hulk are twice as long and Hagrid’s is 3 minutes. Plus, I expected more from Disney. Tron takes place in the computer world. The queue looks cool but the rest of the ride should have been completely indoors with screen effects to give the illusion that you are racing on the grid and leaving a light trail. I’m just not impressed.
Sorry it was plenty long enough for, and I actually enjoyed being outside in the line listening to Daft Punk and watching others on the ride.
@@rideon6140 I’m not as easily pleased.
@@Dark_Kommissar Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Easy don’t support WDW or choose TRON.
This is why I'm more excited to go to universal in August rather then Disney
🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

The ONLY answer to this debacle is to again limit guests to what the parks can hold on any given day. You may not like it, but that will stop the nonsense.
Disney sucks they can't even get a real band
Instead of focusing on veterans why not make things fair for everyone?
Tiana's racist adventure
Well, duh! I'll go to Tiana's because Tron ride is too short. And I'm not racist. 😂
What?
@@Syrup-n3t Another virtue signaller.
What is so racist about the Tron ride?
