I would saythat I was very prepared for this interview and got all the civic question correct. 1-What is the “rule of law”? 2- In what month do we vote for President? 3-Who lived in America before the Europeans arrived? 4- Name one state that borders Canada 5-Why does the flag have 13 stripes? 6-What does the President’s Cabinet do? Anyone who is preparing for interview, I strongly recommend this channel and videos.
My friend and I, two 70 year old women, just passed the citizenship test in the first time, me in California and my friend in Connecticut thanks to your videos. We are very grateful and would like to sincerely thank you for that. We also wish to share our experience taking the tests with the hope that it might be helpful for those who are going to take the test. Both California and Connecticut allow family members to accompany applicants during the interview. Even though the progressing time is estimated 10- 14 months, it took us only 4-5 months since the day we applied to be called for the test, and we both were able to take the oath the same day after passing the test. 8 To the future applicants, we believe that if you just go through and again Ms. Jackie’s videos, you can tackle the test with an easy mind.

Hello! I had my driver's license with me, but they didn't ask me for it. You must bring with you: •Letter for an interview. •Green card. •Passport •If eligible, any evidence of Selective Service Registration.

My mom passed the Civic test and writing test, However she was asked to come again as she failed on speaking and understanding english. She wasnt prepared then for N-400 questions. She loves your videos and now is more confident. 1) Will they ask anythjng outside the form 2) will they ask her civics questions again. She is 72 and I want her to achieve this, didnt want to take a chance again
Hi there, kudos for your mom who wants to achieve this! And I think she can do it. To answer your question, the 2nd interview will only go over the failed portion of the first, so no civics test for her. They might ask some random questions outside the form if they think she doesn't understand English and I have seen that from the applicants whom I worked with. I will also suggest you to check out this service we provide. It helps to assess her ability and also provide some suggestions for her to improve. www.uscitizenshiptest.org/citizenship-classes Usually the 2nd interview is within a month, so I will suggest to start preparing ASAP because if she fails again, she will have to reapply and start the process all over again. I had my interview yesterday 10/2024 in California and I wasn’t ask one complicated question. I passed the test and interview. With all the videos here, I made myself more nervous than needed to be and I see most all 100 and 100eds of comments had an easy interview with no extra question asked. It would be nice to have a poll to see how many actually get this sort of interview with lots of additional question. It seems it is 1 in 1000

With the new form, you don't have to put in children whom are over 18. If you've used the old form, just update the officer during the interview, it's not a problem at all.

I only started doing delivery with Uber Eats.I don’t file for taxes.therefore, in my Uber eats account, it says: Your 2022 Uber earnings were below the IRS income threshold “. On the N-400 application, there is a question : Have you ever not file for taxes??, do you file your taxes??” Since I do not file for taxes, would that be a problem during the interview??? That's not a problem, however, if you don't meet eligibility for exemptions, then you need to attend the interview without an interpreter and you need to understand the officer.

Depends on what's the reason, if it's only the test portion, If you don't pass, you will have a 2nd interview to pass the failed portion of the first interview. and if you fail again, then you have to start the process all over again (reapply).
Can you do Marriage based citizenship interview after divorce? What I mean is You get married and got your 10 years green card But You got divorced in a year after you received your green card. You are going to citizenship interview after 5 years of waiting and by yourself as a single. Thank you!
Of course, as long as you apply under 5-year eligibility, that's not an issue. However, the officer can still ask you questions about your past marriage, so just be prepared.

You can just say Puerto Rico and it is part of the US.

On the N-400 application, there is a question : Have you ever not file for taxes??, do you file your taxes??”
Since I do not file for taxes, would that be a problem during the interview??? Please someone help me.

@@Matrixx679 thanks . But I passed my interview on April 3. Turned out I didn’t have to file taxes since my father always declared me as dependent.

Depends on what's the reason, if it's only the test portion, If you don't pass, you will have a 2nd interview to pass the failed portion of the first interview. and if you fail again, then you have to start the process all over again (reapply).

Can you do Marriage based citizenship interview after divorce? What I mean is You get married and got your 10 years green card But You got divorced in a year after you received your green card. You are going to citizenship interview after 5 years of waiting and by yourself as a single. Thank you!
