That rating (700W) is telling you what the unit will draw at maximum, not what it uses on standby or playing no music.

Needing an owners manual for PIONEER VSX-454, PIONEER CD PLAYER PD-M403 and PIONEER Tape Player CT-W5404R. Just bought the 1995 stereo system and Raido has good loud sound but CD & Cassette players have very low audio throgh speakers. PLEASE does anyone have sugge.stions

I just got one of my own and there's an input in the bottom left where you can plug your phone into. I hooked it up but there's no sounds. Are you able to help?

Connor Heineman thats actually meant for headphones. in the rear you can plug up a 2 to 1 jack and use youre phone that way. i chose the laser disc outputs.
