Sanyo made great boomboxes back in the 70’s and 80’s. I had the Sanyo M-9994 when I was a teen in 1978. I just saw one on eBay going for $3,000. and would love to get that boombox again. But I like this one and this one should be more commonly bought bc it was about less than half of the M-9994 and looks like they both came out in the late 70’s.

I have this radio too and its one of the best receivers in my collection.

I love that ride ..

It puts out a lot of bass due to a non-defeatable "Loudness" boost. It only goes away if you really crank the volume.
