I have issues with applying the throttle, I feel it is much too sensitive, making me spinout, even in higher gears. Which setting should I use, in order to, have a “longer pedal”. it's not deadzone, that will simply shorten the travel of the trigger and actually make it worse. what you're looking to adjust is throttle linearity. the higher the value the less sensitive it will be in the beginning which is where you need more precision.

Great useful video again pal, yeh I found traction very tricky out the box so moving steering linearity to 10 and throttle linearity to 40 seems to be good for me early on. Plus on throttle diff all the way down to 50 to make traction more controllable. Can always increase it later once I get more used to handling.
does anyone else have the problem that the triggers dont rumble anymore? the whole controller rumbles except the triggers it worked on f1 21 but now it doesnt

I havent touched any controller settings, because i find if you leave them alone you learn the game better, the best way to avoid spinning through traction zones is lightly press the R2, same for race starts, i also put my Overtake button on my L3.
True ive only changed my steering saturation which is at 14 and everything else is at 0 and ive managed to get top 1% on every track ive done time trial at on a controller no assists
Hi maybe due to my foolishness i didn't catch what I'm going to ask: is there an option to set the steering wheel rotation limit and if one passes that limit the wheels won't go the opposite direction? My problem is for example when I turn right, I want the maximum angle but when I pass this maximum with the joystick then the wheels start turning left which messes up my turn. Which is frustrating because I can't even beat the 60 ai. I wish there could be an option that if we pass the limit then the wheels keep in that angle and not start turning the opposite direction. For my driving style this is crucial specially in tracks like Monaco.

i play on ps5 controller and any time i try to steer from one side directly to the other it pauses in the middle before steering the other way, i see no one else that has this aswell and it just simply makes car control impossible. is there a setting i i need to change or turn off because i am lost, whenever i played f1 2020 a while back i dont remember having the same issue, it really only occured in f1 22
On controller should I learn how to use manual gearbox first or zero traction control first ??? And is there a track that would be easier to start on ?

this settings might helped you go with less mistake but not faster. you can check my channel i am racing with default settings with pad (some tracks i am using understeer enhace on/off). and world the fastest pad player is playing with default settings except understeer enhance is turn off(according to last time he shared). play how you feel but i just want to let you know
Hi guys, I'm having real trouble with traction in this year's game. I only have it on medium but I'm struggling to keep the car from spinning. when I'm testing my set ups on Time Trial, I'm finding that I'm having to revert back to full to get a lap in any advice??
i got 100 on all things straight out of the box BUT this setup is very bad. bahrain with this setup just give me in 3 rounds R&D only 3 purple. with default setup i got all purple max R&D points. don't use this the default settings are perfect for controller.

Try increasing the throttle and brake linearity to 100.

Why are my buttons mapped to 2 different things I cannot change camera view because it’s also mapped to replay button etc

Straights it's to simulate porpoising, a phenomenon that happens with the new 22 cars IRL where the car bounces in high speed.
