What's amazing in the 1938 Handicap is that not only did Seabiscuit carry 30 pounds more than Stagehand, his jockey made an error and chased the wrong horse in the beginning of the race, spending Seabiscuit's rally much too early. So Seabiscuit was holding Stagehand off at the end after running at world-class speed for most of the race.

That is really cool! I have seen the American Experience documentary several times. They could probably make Seabiscuit into a miniseries and make it six hours long and tell the whole story, not that the feature was not good. Thanks for the actual footage!
