I'm new to Greg Koch thanks to my friend Nick who will drive hundreds of miles to catch a gig, you know this guy's the real deal when that happens ... damn, he's a tasty player.
One of the last guitarists who takes us on a journey deep into his world.trio Impeccable musicality and at first sight the pleasure they have in playing together. MAGNIFICENT.
Greg , I have heard different performances of you playing this tune. ,I must have been a special night, yes your guitar was fat and juicy. It’s on my regular TH-cam play list. It’s a reminder of where we were pre Covid
Unrepentant is such a great song. Almost sounds like it would fit right in on a Focus album. In fact, some of Greg's playing here reminds me of Jan Ackerman (another fantastic and *somewhat* under-appreciated guitarist), particularly during Greg's solo. Friggin love it.
Okay, Unrepentant is now my all-time fav guitar song ever. That was UNFKBVBL... seriously!!! I do NOT say this lightly. I think I even heard a little King's X and Eric Johnson in there.
I'm not clever enough to make a suitable comment, cause WOW - Thanks for sharing Linda

Sweet tea hot damn, Mr Greg is a mastermind truly one of a kind!

Greg is just ....the best....what treat to be alive and experience this once in generation maestro and he is sooo funny too!
New to the world of Greg, I am charmed by his humor ,mesmerized by his skills and the breath of his knowledge, and he plays T style guitars
Reminiscent of Allman Brothers, with gunslinger chops over the top. A hit!
So cool man
Absolutely Outstandingly Amazing Greg certainly plays outside the box. Inspiring!
top notch band. Love Mr. Koch's distortion sound.
You can see the GristleMaster is rubbing off onto Toby! Love those expressions.
Hell yeah.... love it!

One of my favorite guitarists of all time: Greg "Chikin' Pickin'" Koch-rhymes-with-Chalk!
I can’t stop watching this! Thanks for sharing.
This might sound off the wall but this really reminded me ofthe Greatful Dead.

I agree totally about Jan Ackerman, these guys are out on their own.
Let's call him Jan Akkerman just because it's his name 😜

...and speaking of Focus, I would LOVE to hear these guys cover (or even just reference) a Focus tune. "Sylvia" comes to mind the most.

Yup.
:02 HEHEHEHEHEH the way he just yells that out loud as f...... hahahah man, he's got a quirky sense of humor and playing.
Indeed - what a cool personality, and what a cooperation between a guitarist and his instrument. At last an innovative blues player
@Finnegan Thaddeus I guess, that's why, you entered the blues society xD
On keys...Baron Von Raschke!
Ugh I had tickets to see him and it got cancelled :(
Bostin !!
I want to drive up from St. Louis to see Greg perform. How can I find his schedule?
No-one is touring because of Covid--He is doing live shows from his room on TH-cam.
@@sjuozhunki Thats not necessarily true. We have people here near Stl who are still doing shows at local venues.
Were you running two amps that night...??
