Oddly enough, Hammer feels harder vs Fatalis than when I used DBs, but I suspect it's because of my personal insistence to always, ALWAYS go for the head when I Hammer.
Well played - you had a much better time against him with the hammer than I did! Hammer has been my go-to weapon for "farming" Evil Eyes, so I usually slot in Partbreaker and try to focus on the head. I find that a good way to punish the cone is level 3 charge into clutch claw - the timing's a little tight, but if you see it coming, you can get the full level 3 charge, and use the clutch claw follow-up to escape the puddle.
Once again, though, your video is showing me just how much I need to get used to focusing on the chest as well. Thanks for the great content, and for making even the hardest fights seem more approachable :)
5:47 that attack in particular is what helped me understand that Fatalis' blasts burst out in an impact circle, with the third one usually being the biggest. Caught me out with it during my 50 carts before defeating him solo.

This may seem much to ask, but could you do an Alatreon runs like with Fatalis? I'm aware Fatalis is much more enjoyable as a fight, but Alatreon is currently my roadblock. I understand the mechanics of the fight just not the fundamentals of it. I can't optimize my openings because I lack the true knowledge to interpret when they are. Seeing you play has upped my fundies in Rise with Gunlance (specifically against risen Shagaru) and I would enjoy seeing it in action against Alatreon.

odd take aha i like alatreons fight more than fatalis, fatty is a lot of waiting around alatreon is a constant battle, but i'll consider it as i mentioned in a previous comment i figured alatreon hunts are extremelly oversatured for videos as people hated fighting him.
Not sure if it applies to normal rolls, but there is a known bug with bow's sidestep where the game dashes you in a direction that you aren't attempting too. I haven't heard it happening with rolls, but maybe.
It sucks that you cant ko fatalis, i get why because otherwise itd probably be sticky cheesed but when using the hammer it just feels so empty
I started playing a few weeks ago and MR70-ish. Maining Charge Blade, and keep hearing it's the hardest weapon against Fatalis. Wondering if you could do a run with CB? You make it look so smooth with all of the different weapons you use.

already did it with bow, i see no need to do it with the guns as its basically the same fight
