Omg I was just thinking of it the other day and saying to myself that no one ever says that when they see a beached whale, but it's a brilliant comedy line!
The better line was later when he said "I don't know if it was divine intervention, or the kinship of all living things but in that moment Jerry! I was a marine biologist!"

That’s a top move. I love that part.
I was thinking of that scene too. A visual act that was subtle, yet so very noticeable. A tiny little act in an episode and here we are talking about it 20+ years later. That little act was genius.

That's got to be my favorite jerry line too, the way his voice goes up and he sounds like a petulant child is what really sells it for me.

Kramer stashing balloons in Jerry's house in readiness for his millenium party, which is months away. Jerry protests saying they won't stay inflated. Kramer says:
"Those are my everyday balloons".
Love that line.

Leland: Kramer, I've been reviewing your work. Quite frankly, it stinks.
Kramer: Well, I.... I've been having trouble at home. I mean, you know, I'll work harder, nights, weekends, whatever it takes.
Leland: No. No. I don't think that's going to do it. These reports you handed in... it's almost as if you have no business training at all. I don't know what this is supposed to be.
Kramer: Well, I'm just trying to get ahead.

For me, the funniest line in 'Seinfeld" or any sitcom ever was when George and Jerry hijacked a limo from the airport not knowing it was for a "white supremacist". An attractive woman who was also a "white supremacist" was in the car and kept making sexual double entendres at George. (She thought George was the white supremascist) The woman leaves the car and George and Jerry are talking. George is telling Jerry that he thinks he can get "lucky" with the woman. Jerry looks at George and says "George! She's a Nazi!" Laughed for 24 hours when i heard it and I still remind myself every now and then about that scene and it still makes me laugh out loud.
Now, you can just say, She's a Trump supporter!"

There's so many great lines... "you're saying... you want a piece of me ?" is up there. One that's underestimated is Kramer breaking up with his girlfriend : "you contribute nothing to society... you're just taking up space !". “If every instinct you have is wrong, then the opposite would have to be right.” is also an amazing one, because of what happens next. And finally, "you stole my Jesus fish, didn't you ?" was so well delivered...
The whole library cop bit was hilarious.

The Tractor seat…when the GF tells Jerry she got Gonorrhea from a tractor seat, and Jerry leaves on a high note…”that’s it for me, you’ve been great”…still makes me laugh. Prob my fave episode.
I'm pretty sure that "But you're a cashier" clip was the preview they showed when he was on a talk show back then. It's one of the things that made me want to watch it from the start.

oh man, its tough to pic a favorite episode...let alone a line. To be fair, I was born in 85' and actually loved it as a young kid because of Kramer. As an adult, I love everything about the show. I could listen the Seinfeld talk about the show all day!

I was a teacher for 38 years, and used to help out with our high school musical. I would always have our students watch the "car rental" scene and specifically only watch Elaine's face during it. That is the best example of how to react to other actors that I ever saw.

One reason the reservation scene is funny is it's so relatable. Who hasn't had that happen and wanted to have that comeback.
My favorite line ever from Seinfeld is when Jerry is in the confessional telling the priest about his dentist telling Jewish jokes. You know the scene and Jerry’s answer to the question is: “No, it offends me as a comedian!”
Jerry sitting on the kneeler is hilarious.
One of my favorite lines Jerry delivered was after the Chinese mailman got angry because Jerry said to him "You must know where a Chinese restaurant is." Then later, Jerry said "What's the big deal? If someone asks me to point the way to Israel, I'm not gonna fly off the handle." That was hilarious!

There's a line in the Curb quasi-reunion that still kills me, "My sympathies lie only with the toilet" when he's talking to Newman about his dissatisfying bathroom experience.
The Alternate Side is one of the best episodes. A Larry David written classic.

From the exit emerge several of Elaine's friends, who hurry over to see her. They're all holding tissues.
CAROL: Elaine. Elaine, did you just see The English Patient?
GAIL: (tearful) Didn't you love it?
LISA: How could you not love that movie?
ELAINE: How about, it sucked?
I related to that line because I saw The English Patient and didn’t understand what the fuss was about. I thought is sucked, too!
That "Double Dip" ABSOLUTELY happened to Larry.

When the Bubble Boy dad is tearing up telling Jerry and Elaine about his son, and Elaine hands out napkins to everyone to wipe their eyes, but Jerry just wipes his mouth from the sandwich he was eating.
Now you understand the finale
Jerry talking about what makes comedy funny is pure gold. Gold. And the letter "K" being funny, that goes back at least as far as George Burns. I think he talked about that with Johnny Carson once on the Tonight Show. He said Kumquat is funny, but some other fruit (maybe orange): not funny. Maybe "K is funny" was in The Sunshine Boys also.

Both the “That’s a shame” and “Who is this?” repeating jokes on the show are things I love.
The car reservation bit is one of my faves, though.
I also love the ep. where he gets the marketing telephone call asking if he’d like a subscription to the New York Times and he just says “Yes.” and hangs up.
And then there’s the repeating “Not that there’s anything wrong with that!” line in the Jerry & George being a couple ep.!
