    Bakit po ang "d" na ginamit ay t = 120mm. Hindi po ba ang d = slab thickness - concrete cover - bar diameter/2 = 120 - 20 - 12/2 ?

    Sir this vid is about 3 years ago, but the load factors you are using is (1.4DL + 1.7LL) still as of 2001 NSCP version. Why?

    Ang preliminary thickness po ba na t = perimeter/180 ay both for one-way and two way?

      Yes, but you should add 20mm clear cover for rebar, total "t" should not be < 100mm

    sir pano po ung deadloa ng chb na nakapatong sa floor, kung may partition wall po dun sa floor na dinedesign. pano po un isasama sir, salamat po

      You can include those during DL calculation, apply a uniform distributed load specific for permanent and movable partition wherever it is located. No need to be linearly assigned. Thanks

    Sir bakit po ung iba nakikita ko ang ginagawa S/l < .05 one way slab pag greater 2 way slab

      You have 2 options:
      (1) L/S > = 2 (one-way)
      L/S < 2 (two-way)
      (2) S/L < = 0.5 (one-way)
      S/L > 0.5 (two-way)
      Both criteria are correct, use whichever you are comfortable. Thanks

      Highly recommended kasi talaga ang concrete vibrator especially pouring of column malalim na yan hindi natin nakikita kung nag aampaw, sa slab pwede pa kasi visible. thanks

    Hi sir, tanong ko lang po, bakit U= 1.4D + 1.7L ang load combination na ginamit niyo? Bakit hindi po 1.2D + 1.6L? Salamat po sa mga structural design lectures sobrang nakatutulong po.

      Yea it may be the old load combi, I think 1.2DL+1.6LL starts in 2015. That is fine, just giving an example you can use the latest. Thankyou for your comment
