Burton is one of the best guitarists. He’s the one who got me interested in playing all those years ago. It’s a shame that when he started playing a solo the camera shot away so we could watch someone pour a drink.🙄

what a beautiful time period. the people were so modest and glamorous and attractive look how genuinely happy the world looked around this time. the music was amazing the people were attractive i wish i lived in this era

This is great. Ricky is a great performer and SO darn CUTE (I prefer not to think of him as dead). What a life James Burton has had, too. I bet he has lots of stories he could tell.
Ricky looked fucking awesome! What a guy! It's crazy to see how formal these rockstars were back in the day. Been listening to rockabilly for almost 12 years now and I barely noticed. 🙂
my 90 year old grandpa is in the hospital, there was a nurse named cindy, she was not in the room but he started singing the first part of that song, I never heard it before, it came out in 1938 by bob wills

Actually it's an old folk type song. There are probably hundreds of different verses to it that have been composed by different people over the years.
