My favorite videos are the ones like these where Zak is just explaining things that are cool to him or something he made and teaching us something new. I love it! 🥰
I love when Zack pops in with a video, it feels so nostalgic like old youtube - people being passionate and trying new things! Now everything is such a production and no one shares things they aren't already experts at. This was soo refreshing and nice to see. I was genuinely excited and passionnate by the end like I myself was about to go and buy some rope and build one in my backyard - me: a childless woman living in a metro with zero knots skills 😅
Would LOVE to see you working on it! Explanations on types of knots and their benefits vs others, how to make certain patterns etc. What a cool thing for your son and his friends to grow up with!
Zack, this is so impressive. Your homestead is becoming a fun park attraction!! I love that you mixed up the weaving and colors..... makes it more interesting. I really enjoy your videos!
So, so cool!! Your little guy's friends are going to want to come to his house to play all the time!!! So creative and fun , Zak! I love the neon colors! I can see myself sitting up there in the Spring and Summer with a great book!!
Zack, You are truly that jack of all hidden trades and I hope you keep showing us more and more of your hidden talents. Love also how much you are getting more comfortable with the camera, even the B roll is great. Blessings and Love!
I just think about yalls son seeing this as an adult thinking of the nostalgia of the trampoline at mom and dads n then seeing this video of y'all's love and care in making it🥺🥲❤️❤️❤️
I fully understand and respect your decision to keep your son private but I do love the snippets of him, especially of you and Zack interacting with him ❤️
It's recreationally functional outdoor art! It's a fort, a trampoline, a climbing wall, and a tree house all in one. I'd love to see one built as a low ropes challenge/obstacle course. Maybe an elevated climbing wall with the netting around the base like a bouldering crash pad? Or a zip line that ends above a net fort that you drop into? Oh, I could get carried away with this! 😅
I’ve been following this channel from the start and truly love how far your little woodland paradise has come!! LOVE this tree net and the zip line idea!! Your boy is a lucky little guy ❤
I love the color contrast of the second one! Have you been able to figure out a way to get enough initial tension in the perimeter yet? The best I had was to use two prusik knots and pull them toward each other using a ratchet strap. You lose a little bit of tension, but perhaps theres a better knot to use to join the two ends together...
OMG Zack, this is sooo AMAZING!! What a wonderful playground you have made for your son and family. You are very talented!! I have never seen anything like this before and it’s a kids dream!!!
How cool is that it's almost like a mini house made of ropes up in the tree I would love it too and spend the night on the top definitely would need lots of blankets but how fun
Okay this is pretty cool! I don’t have the patience for something tedious like this 😂 I’d just buy a trampoline. But the different tunnels and levels are really neat!
Few questions.. How did you tension the perimeter ropes (the ones that ended up bowing in a lot) and what kind of ropes did you use for them? static? did you nail the block to the tree or just have the free standing, held down by the ropes?
I didn’t nail the blocks I just tied a small string to hold them in place until the perimeter rope was set. I just hand tensioned it for these nets but a 4-1 pulley system with a rope grab would be much better to get the initial tension into the ropes. I used Static ropes only but some have more stretch than others.
One of our few first houses when we moved to the US as an immigrant there was a small tree in the backyard where my dad built a simple small plank "treehouse". I would climb on that thing from time to time as a kid and always had a blast doing so. I think its good to have stuff like that because it develops the kids physical acuity that translate into sports later in life.
Im excited to see what you do with these as you get more experience and wisdom with it. You’re so creative, and i feel like you will come up with cool stuff.
You guys are such cool parents, and I love that for you. I've always wanted to be the fun house when I eventually have kids, too. And these look so sick!
A basic tutorial would be AWESOME! I have the rope but I still don't understand how to tension the perimeter ropes and I haven't seen anything out there.
I’ll try filming one soon, most people I’ve seen use either a 4 to 1 pulley system with a progress capture or a heavy duty ratchet strap on one end and tie the other end to a tree.
it would be so cool to hang some little solar powered lanterns on the trees around it and bring some outdoor cushions and blankets up there. get a projector and watch some movies at night! (maybe some overhead tarps for spider protection hehe...)
Zack You did an amazing job! I absolutely love these! I've never seen them before. The first thought that came to my mind was.....BOY.... ONE OF THOSE IS SURE GOING TO BE REALLY COOL COMING OFF THAT AMAZING TREE HOUSE ZACH'S GOING TO BUILD FOR BABY ONE DAY! LOL!! Then I thought.... Do people ever do these off tree houses?? If not, why not? They sure should!!! Maybe that'd be an awesome business for you?? Tree houses are sure getting more and more popular these days!! With the environment you two are building for little one, HE'S NEVER GOING TO WANT TO LEAVE!!! You'll be having him, his wife and children there! Lol!! (Which personally, I'D ABSOLUTELY LOVE!! Provided they choose an awesome spouse! LOL!!) Thanks so much for sharing! Ps Zack I had no clue you struggled with being on video?? Let me tell you..... these videos mean even more now!! So cute!!
First time watcher!! Great to meet you Zack. Im getting more into Tree Nets and would love an in-depth video of specific knots and their purpose and placement, tying, tensioning, and tree blocking process. Also, what style of rope do you use for "tunnels" or "portals" vs regular retainer walls??
I would love to see how to make the knots; kinda like a close up of knitting or cross stitch.. I’m not crafty at all or artistic like Kristi.. 💋🧚🏻♀️❤️🇺🇸
This is so awesome, I love your videos Zack! Please keep doing them. Kristi and you are such a interesting and fun couple. The bloopers are the best part, I laughed so hard 😄
Not at all the first net took ~ 50 hours of just me building it. And I think I could finish one that size in half the time now that I have the process down. The holes in the base are too small for kids shoes to get stuck while jumping
I really want to make something like this to protect my chicken run from predators!! It would be so helpful if you make a video showing how you did it :)
They make poultry netting specifically for this that they sell on Amazon. It would be a cheaper quicker option unless you were trying to use a hemp or other natural cord to make the bird netting
how did you get tension on your perimeter ive been building my first ones but havent been able to figure out the tension with out using ratchets and id like to get away from that in future builds
My favorite videos are the ones like these where Zak is just explaining things that are cool to him or something he made and teaching us something new. I love it! 🥰
Glad you like them! It definitely doesn’t come naturally to me. I’m never sure what exactly to say or what I’m forgetting
I agree!

Yes, the making of it wasn’t clear. Also, I can see small feet falling thru the holes.
Zack, this is so impressive. Your homestead is becoming a fun park attraction!! I love that you mixed up the weaving and colors..... makes it more interesting. I really enjoy your videos!

Love the beginning with Kristis bounce run. Hilarious as always Kristi❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😂😂😂
I just think about yalls son seeing this as an adult thinking of the nostalgia of the trampoline at mom and dads n then seeing this video of y'all's love and care in making it🥺🥲❤️❤️❤️

I really love that you pair are living the life you've always dreamed of. It really warms my heart. ❤️
This is soooooooo cool !!! Even to chill n read on in the trees would be so cool
I was thinking the same thing!
The way you two are living the absolute dream life! I couldn't be more happy for you and inspired by you!
Much love, Becca from Canada
This looks awesome, I showed my 11 and 13 yr old boys, they said your little boy is very lucky to have such a cool and talented Dad
I’ve been following this channel from the start and truly love how far your little woodland paradise has come!! LOVE this tree net and the zip line idea!! Your boy is a lucky little guy ❤
It's beautiful and so magical. I can't imagine the time it would take to make some of those really intricate ones. What a labor of love.
Definitely yes to more on the process pls! Super cool stuff
Absolutely fascinating! It would be really interesting to see how you weave and create this.
Thanks for sharing, Zack.
It looks soooooo cool. Even to me who doesn't like a whole lot of color. I love that you guys are making your home like your own little world.
Thanks so much!!
So cool!! I wish I had a cluster of trees to do this 🤩 def going to keep this in mind when we look for our forever home 🥰
What a lucky little guy your son is growing up surrounded by so many cool things and so much nature
Just started the video. I thought you bought the net like that, you friggin tied all those knots?! You’re unbelievable dude!
Super awesome! Can't imagine the joy of having the time to make things like this.
I think the bright colors gives it that fun element that kids enjoys. This looks so cool 😎 I think you did a great job 👏🏼

I think that’s what I’ll do on the next one, I saw a video of treenet wizards doing it that way with a double sheet bend to tie the ends together.
Way cool! Zach already gunning for Uncle of the Year 🩷
You are seriously creating the most beautiful life for your family.
This is the coolest thing I've seen yet!! I'd love to see the progress of it and how you do it
I love dads who do stuff like this for their kids! Y'all are so inspiring. Not me eyeing my backyard to see where this net is gonna go
That is the coolest!! I seen these come up in my feed recently and fell in love. Even seen one on someone’s ceiling inside their house.
That is way cool!!! Your guys kiddo is gonna love that when he’s a bit bigger. I love all the colors mixed.
You are such a caring and thoughtful parent.
OMG Zack, this is sooo AMAZING!! What a wonderful playground you have made for your son and family. You are very talented!! I have never seen anything like this before and it’s a kids dream!!!
If it’s not too much hassle, a time lapse of you doing the knots would be cool!
this is so COOL Zak ! i love that you're doing something that's fun project for YOU but also will serve as a fun playground for your kid
So fun. Always fun to hear what Zack is up to. I hope he does a "knots and how to tie them" video.
This is legit so impressive… I love what you guys have done with your amazing property
Really cool project Zach

Obsessed w tree nets!! So cool u’re experimenting w different weaves
That’s so awesome! Thanks for sharing! Appreciate you!( would love to see more of the process!)
Thanks for watching! I’ll film the next project more in depth for sure! 🙌
Yes please a in-depth video on knots etc, I’d love to make one at our childcare centre, our kids would have a blast

So stinking cool. I love the bright colours.
what a fantastic adhd project. i can tell zack had a blast hyper-focusing on this! awesome job dude!
Im excited to see what you do with these as you get more experience and wisdom with it. You’re so creative, and i feel like you will come up with cool stuff.
This is absolutely amazing. I didn't know such a thing existed, and now I want to try it out myself.
I didn't know this existed it's so cool!! Yeah a how to video would be nice 👍 with the knots & patterns
Will do!!
Zack don't hate on yourself so hard, this is fucking wicked awesome!
Zack you are literally the funniest bloke 😂 love these videos, this is so freakin cool!
Love this! I’d love to see more of it.
You guys are such cool parents, and I love that for you. I've always wanted to be the fun house when I eventually have kids, too. And these look so sick!
So impressive! What a fun addition to your home 🤗

Lol I would love to see the knots and process I have a feeling those outtakes are gonna be good

I would love to see more of the detail on this. I want to build one so bad.
Zack

Glad to see you enjoy my friend, charlies webs videos! These used to be so fun to make with him.

This takes a level of commitment I do not have lol, it’s so cool!
What kid wouldn't love that in their yard! Amazing!
Zack...its SO awesome! Looks so fun and its beautiful too❤❤❤❤
Yay!!!! 🎉❤ great to see you!!! Hope your family is well
You guys are seriously the coolest! 🫶🏻

Sweet video. A beginner's take on tree nets. Thank you
This is awesome! I would LOVE to see the process
Hi Zack, that’s pretty cool! Good job trying something new. Fun is an important aspect of a healthy lifestyle.
Omg how cool is this? I would love more content! Well done anyways 👍!
Thank you so much!
It’s a movement to change the world I’m excited to spread the word
This is so cool, Zack! I had no idea this was a thing.
that's amazing!!! lots of love to you!
I think they both look amazing!
Incredible! You’ve got a lucky son. Excuse me while I look at all of our trees to see if this is possible 🕸️
Gosh I love Zack! Just the best guy. I wish my husband and I were neighbors with Zack and Kristi. 😭
I was hoping you would make a video on this! So, so cool! Great work!
I would love to see more of the process!
Yo I didn’t even know this existed!! This is so cool!! What kid wouldn’t love this?!! I want this 😂
Super cool!
This is so awesome, I love your videos Zack! Please keep doing them. Kristi and you are such a interesting and fun couple. The bloopers are the best part, I laughed so hard 😄
Thank you! Will do!
Alder is a lucky boy! How cool!
That looks very difficult and time consuming! The holes look too big for kids to walk on without falling through?
Not at all the first net took ~ 50 hours of just me building it. And I think I could finish one that size in half the time now that I have the process down. The holes in the base are too small for kids shoes to get stuck while jumping
Brilliant, love it 😊❤
How cool!!! That’s amazing!
“Do I look cool”.. “so cool” 😂😂😂😂
Oooooo now all i need is some black lights...glow in the dark stuff...mushroom tea.....of the psilocybin sorts... and let the fun night begin❤❤❤❤❤❤🍄
I think this is so cool! I wish i knew how much time this takes to do. And how far apart is tii far for trees to be?
I think its beautiful!! I wonder if the neon would glow under blacklight like electric forest!
My son, who's 28, thinks your tree nets are really cool. He's already got the spot picked out to make one himself. We are also a family of ADHD.
Thanks for sharing!!❤️
I really want to make something like this to protect my chicken run from predators!! It would be so helpful if you make a video showing how you did it :)
They make poultry netting specifically for this that they sell on Amazon. It would be a cheaper quicker option unless you were trying to use a hemp or other natural cord to make the bird netting
Yay more Zach content!
Hey thanks for sharing. What size is the perimeter cord? Should wood be placed in between the tree and rope even around the perimeter.
10mm static climbing rope is what I used but you can use anything from 8-11mm
This is so wholesome ❤
how did you get tension on your perimeter ive been building my first ones but havent been able to figure out the tension with out using ratchets and id like to get away from that in future builds
Amazing! That looks like so much work but so fun! I was wondering do animals get caught in the or is it too high up for them to get caught?
