Just think of what an engine overhaul or replacement would be...that is nuts. As soon as it says certified on it, it really costs and it must be done by a certified mechanic.
Great information shared. Are these operating and maintenance cost only for a Cessna 310Q model or both 310Q and 310R? I’m looking in the market for nice 310R with six thousand or less Total airframe time.
These are my costs for my 310Q, however I think they would be valid for a normally aspirated 310R. Maybe add just a bit to the fuel for the bigger engines.
Was considering a 310...... won’t be happening after watching this video. You all are getting pounded on parts. No GA piston should average $7500 per annual.
Great detail breakdown on the costs on ownership. Just because you can afford a porche doesn' mean you can maintain it or spell the mane right
Thanks for sharing. Yowzer a 310 is pricey. I enjoyed watching. I’ll keep dreaming.
Thanks mate and thanks for sharing. Love the pictures at the end. Lovely aircraft you have. I dream of the day :)
Thanks for sharing. It is a fair amount more expensive than a 182. But certain things are close like the hanger and insurance
Thanks Tyrone. Oddly having two engines hasn't added much to maintenance (other that fuel), what adds up maintenance wise is all the complex systems.
awesome, so useful
Thanks for sharing Jason.
I miss your videos.
@@MrSixstring2k Hope to have new material soon and thank you!! Stay safe!
Thanks for the info, I saw a 310D for sale in my area so heading down the rabbit hole and shared on my Forum.
Did you buy it?

This is why my friend sold his 310 last year. He wasn't flying it much and the annual maintenance costs weren't worth it.
Im looking at getting one of these thank you foe the in-depth review
watches video...closes all 310 ads immediately!

What about Garmin database updates?

All it takes to fly is, " air speed and money".
And that don't include your payment for the plane right?
Correct...my numbers don't include financing for the plane. Thank you for the question!
How much does it cost to be a millionaire? ;-)

Hence why a small helicopter is a lot cheaper to own
Good luck doing a 1000-mile cross-country with 3 passengers and luggage in a small heli.
