Question: is there a specific program that you consider to be more of a "sample-handling-friendly" one, or, in the end of the day, the quality of production entirely depends upon the creators' dedication and personal juice and the program choices don't matter too much
Destructive editing programs like Audacity really aren't friendly to sample-based music, so I recommend a non-destructive editor DAW (most of them are). Most sample-based producers use Ableton or FL Studio. FL Studio is probably the easiest to use. I use Studio One, but I use it for all sorts of musical purposes, and it meets almost all of my music production needs.

I have found myself immersed on this habit of digging audible materials from things regarding my own bubble of interests, not discarding the possibility of doing something with them as informally as making tracks for friends, not with the solid intentions of initiating onto the musical path, but as a surprising exercise of creativity that helps with my "primary" creation fields, even though they're not quite related to music. As though it's empowering, at its best.
