#DJENT
Just uploaded a song to digital streaming platforms. not this one but will upload this and all other original tracks soon!
Stream "1000", The first original track i made a year ago.

Drop D djent is just groovy metalcore. Jokes aside, this slayed. Reminds me of the glory days of drop D when The Devil Wears Prada and other bands played it. Even Lamb of God ventured into other tunings, but still bring back the D every so often.
yea drop d is super rare this day, plagues era of tdwp is a banger. and thanks btw!
come on, its only one tone higher than half of periphery songs
@@weaintfriendsweaintfriends7346 Still, technically, higher
@@cyntdestroyer69xd I respect you for your profile pic
As someone who never tune lower than drop D and Eb standard, this is like a breath of fresh air.
whoa that's rare these day, as everyone going lower and lower
@@Zainmhz I mainly play boomer metal lol, the only "modern" bands I often jam to are LoG and Sylosis (well not really, they've been around for a long time.)
Also because I only own two guitars, one in drop D and the other in half step down. I don't have the guitar to play lower than those as I prefer to play with smaller gauged strings.
@@Zainmhz I play mainly drop D but my band plays Drop B/A# and is moving to 7 strings to play like Drop G#
@@destianpatrianagara1119 sylosis is so great, i still amazed how Josh can play such complicated guitar parts while sing on top of it.
me too going back too higher tunings as i don't have 7 string anymore.
Great riffs dude! Good job
I thought that it was gonna be Drop D an octave lower, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear these riffs in the "good old" Drop D. haha
Thanks dude! Just want to bring back the classic Drop D, when everyone tuned their guitars to Drop Z haha
Totally agreeing on that :) Really cool solo
Drop D is underrated, proven by Zainmhz.
thanks! it's surely underrated by today standard. now everyone tune their guitar lower and lower
The note selections for the solo were really interesting, not just mindless shredding. I really liked this.
Thank you! I’m not really a “shredder” ,can barely do a sweep haha
That guitar riff is really good, but I gotta say the mixing and mastering on this is immaculate. Mozz project did an amazing job on it 👌
thank you so much!! it actually my project! had to put it under proper "company" name
Its amazing congrats
You can get djenty tones on many tunings : controlled basses and a boost around 1250-1600 hz before the gain stages, and it will bring the "ringyness" we like about low tuned guitars... I think people tend to tune too low, taking the bass role ... Thank you for your excellent vid. Heavyness is in the playing and eq more than in tuning. Congrats !
agreed! it's all about the tone (and the riff of course), not the tuning, but lower tuning definitely a "bonus point" on this whole djenty world
Music for my soul 💙 2010 memories are flooding back to me. Will be back for more 🤘
Glad to fulfill your nostalgia!
Gotta say i wasn't expecting too much and clicked the video on a bored whim...
But God damn bro, im glad I did. Dems is some nice riffs ya go there boi.
Thanks for stopping by!
I feel like I learned so much seeing you cut to cranking the gain for the chugs there
Gate
He turned the gate to zero, which basically turns the threshold for cutting off sound much higher so you get tighter chugs
Yes Dylan Lee is right, but you won't crank it to zero cause it will kill most of your signal, i just did it for the meme haha
@@Zainmhz yeah not zero but lower lol, sick riff!
you know it’s good when i listen to this on a daily basis. nice job dude!
thank you so much!! really appreciate it!
I might do some vocals to this just for myself lol. This is absolutely rad.
That’d be sick! And thank you!
Cool! I love drop D. Because it’s really easy tune strings😂
yeah you can't go wrong with Drop D
I like how in drop D you can still hear the clarity of the note when palm muting the lowest string, like at 1:55
yeah drop D is the perfect tuning for metal, chugs and riff always so clear to hear
@@Zainmhz that's why i love the first Asking Alexandria album.
Nice Job Dude!
Cheers from Brazil 🇧🇷🤘
@@ChLyricsyt that album slap! it accompanied my entire high school days . and thanks dude!
I’ve been playing in drop d since I first started playing guitar but I bought a 7 string last month and I’ve been playing it in drop g, this makes me wanna go back to my 6 string drop d
Since extended range guitar became so common nowadays, playing higher tuning feels like kinda nostalgic
That solo is insanely tasteful. Amazing job!
Thank you so much! I can’t “shred” so that’s all i got
Hell yea man! I use Archetype Nolly on basically everything these days.
Nolly is so easy to get any tone you want out of. i have most of the Neural plug-ins but if i’m going for metal, acoustic, or math rock, or anything i’m unsure of i’ll start on Nolly 100%
@@vexedpixels Right on, same here. I'll use Archetype Gojira if I need to heavy on the distortion or Tim Henson for some more effects. But almost always end up back to Nolly.
yeah its the Most versatile plugin among all Neural Dsp catalog, can do pretty much everything. love the Gojira too.
Yeah I just bought Tim Henson as well, Nolly perfect for anything dirty and "metal cleans" and Tim Henson perfect for anything where you can actually hear dynamics
@@cubeslice haven't tried Tim Henson's, from review videos i watched, it seems pretty good.
dangggg this is super awesome dude! beautiful songwritting!
Hey thank you so muchh!!
FOCK YEAH!!! DJENT DJENT DDJENT! Great riff man! 🤙🤘
Thanks man!
Featured on my youtube front page. Keep going dude, the algorythm is about to blow you up!
Thanks dude! i hopefully so!
I can't listen to this in Drop D without imagining a Lamb Of God song
The GOAT, their riffs are so iconic
0:54 idk why I feel some post apo vibes and i love it

Fuck yeah, had me sold on the first riff then the ambience and the dissonances came in and... yeh, this is the shit bro
Thank you!!
0:40 this part 🥶
0-0-0-0 all day!
refreshing take from muddy tones of drop tunings
drop D deserve more recognition in djent space
Очень круто! 💥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Спасибо!
Stellar composition, man! 🤘🦖
Thanks a ton!
ok this is sick
Thank you!
Nice!! I almost misread as double drop D waiting for it to go down an octave.. Just goes to show how ingrained Djent and super low tuning is!
thanks! it's just classic Drop D tuning, kinda against the stereotypical djent with the ultra low tuning
Love it!
Thanks!!
NICE... i think people forget that the guitar is a Mid range instrument, its place in the mix is between the bass and vocals. When you drop so low that your no longer in the spot, so you crank gain and volume to punch through.
A good example is Mark Tremonti. He plays mainly in Drop D. Some songs he plays Drop C( But he has a VERY custom hybrid baritone that he play it with. So basically he tunes a baritone up), and some open tunings as well.
And he has a BRUTAL tone.
@@seancole2727 just checked Mark Tremonti, he got very creative songwriting! and i agreed with guitar being in mid range frequencies on the mix
this is some good shit sounds like berserk
thank you! i never heard that one before
now this is quality content
thanks a ton!
Holy shit, this reminded me of Monuments so hard, but also many other great bands, great work man, this is fire.
thank you so much! monuments is masterpiece
This is sick
Thanks!!
Great riffs! It reminded me of Impulse Crush, by Ithaca. Great tone, also.
thanks! just checking them out, they're so good!
Ahh, shiiii... Sounds really cool!
Thank you!
good, nice
Thank you!
Kick ass tones man.
Thanks bro!

The D word. Haha perfect 👍
that is a sacred word hahah
the nasty chugs with the ambiet reminds me some veil of maya
wow commenting straight from the far cry 3 i see, i love veil of maya! it may have some influence on this one
Saya suka musicnya bro, serasa denger Novelist FR

Drop D-jent 😎
here ya go djentlemen
now it makes me wanna try E standard djent
Now that’s interesting
Not single word can describe how good this sh#t is
thanks a ton!
Melody like Memphis may fire
influenced by them a bit! The Hollow and Challenger are my favs
LIT!
Thanks!
Ah drop D….The gateway to heavy music…
Siq song too
thanks! once you tuned that low E to D, you'll never go back
Drop D getting finally getting some love again lol barely hear any bands in these genres using it aside from bands like Lamb Of God, Every Time I Die, and Thursday
There’s so much clarity riffing in drop d, but most bands nowadays plays 0s anyway. Still sad that every time i die disbanded
OOOOHHHH YEEEESSSS
That solo is sick!!!
Thank you!! 🙌
Fellsilent vibes 😮❤
just listened to them for the first time, that is some true metalcore right there
Much better than drop b, a, or even g djent
Maybe not as great as low tuning for chugging, but for riffing its sure better
sick riffs my guy 🤘
Thankss!! 🙌
That was breathtaking ❤❤❤❤
Thank you ❤️❤️❤️
Sick
Thanks!
Awesome riffs! Love the editing too
Thanks a ton!
Dude you are sick! 🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻
Thanks a ton dude 🙌
godddaammmmmmmmmmmm that was br00tal
thank youuu!!!
The best chugs are in drop d and as low as drop c. Aggressive muting with that right hand gets some chunky gnarled chugs. Groovy stuff is best in low tuning a for me though.
Couldnt agree more with you, lower than C fast chug can get muddy and lost its “bites”
sick
Thanks!
Awesome riff bro!!!
Hey thanks!!
uuuuuuuuuuwwwwwhhhhh nice
Thank you!!
wow👍
Yoo 🙌
damn boiii the stank face won't go off 🥶🥶🥶 nice riffs
Thanks boi!
Djent Kids: you can’t djent on a 6 string
Also Them: “Only plays one string on a 9”
*also tune to drop Z*
Good riffs! Great job!
Thanks a lot!
I love it.
Glad you like it!
