I'm a 50 + black female who was laid off, credit in absolutely horrible shape, holding on to my house, dealing with sickness and taking care of a family member. I literally am on the brink. I started listening to a ton of affirmations and different speakers like Beckwith, Proctor, Jay and Vishen. I'm taking everything internal and trying to do the inner work. It's hard and I don't want to cry because I'll fall apart. Thanks to all of you including Dr. Joe, Bob Baker and many others. I'm still alive and am opening up to find my purpose.
I hope everything is going somewhere between okay and brilliant! If you can use some assistance, perhaps I can come and help out for a little while.

A story: I have many years behind me as a hairdresser. My clients would come sit and they’d begin sharing, very much as you have here.
And often, there in the safety of my private studio space they’d open a little more, share a little deeper and I’d listen in. EVERY TIME tears come, I’d hear them apologize for “losing it”. I would ALWAYS tell them (as I’d hand them a tissue), “ you haven’t lost a thing, you’ve found a bit more of your humanity”.
So I share this here to you.
We need not be afraid of expressing our emotions, but when we freeze them and give them nowhere to be mobilized they numb us and we wither away, and that IS something to avoid.

1. Daily routines -- Ask yourself the Intentions: Seeds VS Weeds;
2. Human brains cannot be logical and creative at the same time;
3. If you can lift someone up, go for it, otherwise, protect yourself first;
4. Data shows that only 2% of people can do multi-tasking; multi-tasking is a myth;
5. "Those who love peace need to organize themselves as well as those who love wars" -- Martin Luther King --> Whatever you are going to do, let's bring sincerity and strategy together; Your intention will help you run the marathon but it will not run the mile itself.
6. *The biggest and the hardest lesson is that our family and friends will be inspired more by our actions/examples than our education!!! They are going to change when they see us change, they are going to transform when they see us transform; "tolerate them like I'm tolerating you"; You're never gonna change someone or make them do something, the part with patience that works is introduce them to someone they're inspired by, don't try to be their inspiration;
7. The most successful people in the world, healthy/wealthy/wise, choose EDUCATION over ENTERTAINMENT

Jay Shetty is addictive. As a 22 years old former anxiety disorder patient i am so grateful to someone like Jay Shetty who has been bringing 'monkitude' to our internet world.
The parable of "SEEDS" and "WEEDS" is such a great lesson by The Lord Jesus, Thank you Jay. its such a timeless teaching. so lets be the Gardner of planting seeds of LOVE and COMPASSION and GRATITUDE and EMPATHY and SERVICE etc. Sweet.

I am walking my path without stressing for my family to follow suit because I am Integrated, Connected and Centered. This brings in me Calmness Contentment and Happiness. This is very well seen and also accepted by my family.

He has lots of content I still have to watch, but I really enjoyed his videos on time. I played them for my 7 year old daughter and she really loved them as well.

All Jay Shetty's videos are worth watching. His videos are just incredibly motivating. If I have to name No :1, till today I catch up is his video "on time " .And No:2 is " people will never forget how you made them feel" .

I've seen this interview before but now watching it again months later after get very unexpectedly dismissed from my job. I've gotten over it and onwards and upwards from now on. The whole interview was amazing but Sunitas question was the most valid for me in so many ways. It's simple but to hear it makes total sense. So grateful for both of you. I have followed Mind Valley for a long time when I randomly came across how companies celebrate Valentines and as for Jay - I remember seeing you in your early days on Social Media thinking the way he talks and sends his message has such an impact and he's going places and look at you know.
