Not Jay Sherry’s quote - he stole it from someone else (like everything else he produces)

@@slsm1384 I am just now learning about Jay and don't know much about him yet but what I do know is that we ALL learn most everything we know from someone or somewhere, to me, the most important thing is to share with others the best and most helpful information we learn about. It doesn't really matter to me who originated this quote, it was still new to me and I appreciate it. 🙂

Maybe it’s a shame, but I’ve never heard of this genius. And I never bought a book after any interviews in the past. (Including Ed’s book... sorry bro). But I am buying this book. RIGHT NOW. Idk why - but I think the timing is perfect for me. My summer didn’t feel as accomplished as I planned (at all)... so this is exactly what I needed to hear. Thank you Ed 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

I love you Ed, because you don’t care about the money or the following you have giving out free content, I used to feel that way about Jay specially in the beginning, because he was a monk... but that has changed because he charges for everything he does (expensive) and he cares a lot about how many followers and likes he has, I have nothing against but it really shows how people can change by social media.

I thought a very insightful point Jay made at 12:41 in the episode was “you become who you think other people want you to be.” It’s true and it’s sad that we will try to fit a mold of other people’s design instead of what was born inside us. I hope we can help those around find what they were put here to do sooner rather later. Great podcast, Ed! #maxout

    Another amazing interview.
Few things that brought me home-
    1. Location and Time (Sacred spaces)
    2. TIME
    3. Find your strengths by asking your associations and learning about yourself in 4 weekends..
    4. Service mindset , Like John Maxwell say "Everyday add value"
    5. Thinking and Action
Every sentence was full of wisdom.

Sorry for the delay Ed. I only really listen to your guests so when I see on LI that you have a new show I time in. For me when Jay said "The scale at which you succeed depends on the depth of the problem you solve". I hope that's exactly what he said. As a leader at work I'm often surprised, although I shouldn't be, at how people have no idea sharing problems but don't try to solve it themselves. Jay said it within a different context I believe like innovation but even simple problems that arise people love to just pass it along without a solution or at least the root cause so we can find the solution together. I look for that with my team. Some have it many dont

Dreams do NOT make one HAPPY...............Look at Marlyn Monroe, Elvis, Kurt Cobain, Phil Lynott, George michael, Amy Winehouse etc, etc, etc. It seemed the WHOLE WORLD may have told those people HOW GREAT AND AMAZING THEY WERE.........trouble is if that feeling of bliss, doesn't resonate inside..............you can and will feel empty. Bliss, comes from within, NEVER OUT THERE! Out there - it's all illusion!

Cesar Milan comes to mind, Dierks Bentley and Phil Mickelson are others. Another suggestion would be Olympian Steffen Peters. He's had a fascinating career and very inspiring in how open and honest he's been with his struggle and his comeback. Exactly what everyone needs to hear! "Most people act without thinking, and thinks without acting". This one has definitely touched a button in me. Sometimes we get so overwhelmed with work or projects thinking that we have to do them, also maybe we think we have to stay busy to feel that we are doing something with our lives. But are we ACTUALLY enjoying it? Is it ACTUALLY fulfilling us and bringing us joy where we WANT to wake up in the morning and do it? I really needed to hear that, thanks Ed! Jay is such an inspiring human being!

Ed! That was fantastic and so enlightening. I had heard of Jay Shetty and wanted to check him out. Then I was in a challenge with Nick Santanastasso and he HIGHLY recommended you. Imagine my joy when I jump on and find that the first podcast on deck is with Jay Shetty! I will now follow both of you for more of this goodness! Thanks for what you do and I look forward to being on your podcast or sharing a stage with you one day!

Success comes from service. The scale at which you succeed is the depth of the problem you solve. We act without thinking or we think without acting! Profound.

Everything under this is centered jn Buddhism. 50% of day centered on you?? No. All day centered on God, to glorify & serve him. In that, you will serve others, remember the poor, the orphan, the widow. Thus is all about yourself. We are to meditate on God's word as we rise up, walk along the road, lie down to bed. What is he having YOU meditate on? You. Your goals, not God's word, which will lead you. If you don't know the Shepherd's Voice ( by reading His word), you'll follow anyone who has pieces of great advice.

This was an AMAZING video.. I want to share it with my son, because I really think it would help him, but I don't know if he'll watch it... He's not in a good place right now, and I don't know how to help him.. If you have any ideas, it would sure be appreciated.. Thanks for always having a GREAT show... I love it.

I’ve watched many interviews in my life but this would happen to be the best one ever. I only found this video because I’m reading the book Think Like A Monk. I’m from Australia and sorry but hadn’t heard of Ed Mylett before but after this WOW. I’ve watched this video 4 times this week. It moves me, inspires me and grabs my soul. Thank you Ed and Jay. 🙏🕉🧎‍♂️♾

Why celebrate people who censor people (i.e. Besos, Zukerberg, etc)? You guys are fantastic but celebrate folks who act tyrannically, as though they should be emulated as models of “excellence”. It’s industry-wide in personal development. And my comment is based in love, regardless of how it may be perceived.

Love you Ed but dissapointed to see you giving this guy airtime. Jay Sherry plagiarises EVERYONE and I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about it. I was a fan until I watched a video where he stole all of Wayne Dyers work pretty much word for word - that is NOT ok. 2020 is the year of people waking up to people who are fake. Sorry if I’m sounding nasty - I’m just tired of the BS, and these people need to stop taking advantage of others lifetime body of work. This video explains a little more about his plagiarism. th-cam.com/video/Nfu4j7EIGqs/w-d-xo.html
