Sounds good. I prefer myself quieter exhaust so as not to draw attention to myself and piss people off. Besides you get better top end with stock style exhaust. Gives the right amount of back pressure that the others won't. Like running open headers.
Great video mate, love the accent, reminds me when I lived in Calgary. Question. What is the purpose of the servo on the exhaust and is it ok to disconnect it like that? I recently bought a 1000 and when swapping the fender eliminator I notice I also didn't have those servo cables. Cheers from Australia.
Thanks...I think😔 that servo is for an oxygen sensor, and from everything I heard it only works on the stock pipes as there is some chamber it opens on the stock pipe that is no longer on the aftermarket ones. I could be wrong though...I just yarded em out!!! lol
Yeah, I was thinking of that when I checked out your New Concept 750X ride. They definitely would look better with a muted (pun intended) exhaust. Same with the DR650. What is Japan thinking?

Thanks for the video. Mine is a 2015 model. It doesn't have the servo and wiring to deal with.

The stock ones do look quite nice. I would not have traded to an aftermarket if they would have been those long silver cans that hang off the bikes.
