Hi Matt, Good running session, I liked the mixture of the different eras, they all looked good on your layout. Would you kindly let me know where you purchased the dry stone retaining walling at the back of the station. I could certainly use that on my layout for a project I am doing. Thank you, regards Alan
That is an outstanding first running session of 2025 nice to see Locomotion 1 a lovely toot from the black 5 on the heritage line, excellent announcement for the GWR Class 158 to Trowbridge, where did Colas Rail Freight Class 56 turn around then to pick up those wagons. The top n tail 37's and the A4 made a nice appearance in the video.
Great Running Session Matt love the UK Rail announcement you used I guess it was from UK Rail Announcement Generator also the Black 5 sounds brilliant hope she will run on the main line on the layout double heading with the other black 5 you got
Remember when it was announced last year and some people complaining that it was hornby just trying to cash in on the queens Jubilee, they didn’t seem to realise that it was a real loco that had been put into that jubilee livery, as far as I know the loco is still in that livery.
Great running session here Matt, some great trains and locos features, what was the number and name of the A4, the Cavalex 56 was a very nice one to see and hear, one of the best models last year and should have been model of the year, the 158 with sound as well was nice to see, keep up the great work Matt.
Locomotion 1 is a fascinating loco to watch in action. Your sound effects re the Trowbridge train were amazing. The goods train hauled by Evening Star looks great, too. But the star of the show IMO was the Black 5.
Can you please swap the stinky diesel in the intro for a steam engine? Also, can you create a running session with all the steam engines you own, and no diesels in sight anywhere? The sound of a steam engine grabs my attention quickly. Southern Bullied Pacifics don't because they are too quiet, and that's what I don't like about them. Show me a GWR Manor hard at work, and I'll show you how much I truly love her.
@@ManchesterOxfordGate You get with the times, idiot. I shall have you know that steam railtours are still going strong, as are steam engines on our heritage railways, and we would all be devastated if they were lost to us. Steam engines are not a thing of the past, a lot of them are preserved and working well. Full steam ahead is what I and many thousands of steam engine fanatics want to see. I'm one of the few fighting to help keep steam engines alive for people like you to enjoy riding behind them. That's a fact.
@@kellyashfordtrains2642I’m the one that films many of the videos of heritage locos and railways that makes it to manufacturers and other TH-camrs productions. I’m just as dedicated. The only difference is, I have a sense of humour. Steam on, baby!

Great running session Matt 👍
I especially enjoyed seeing the Royal Train with the ‘new’ Hornby Platinum Jubilee liveried Class 67.

Yeah does look good. Not mine unfortunately. It's a visiting loco
