I love those Onroutes. I saw a lady on another TH-cam channel make a make-shift tent over her cot inside her van for added warmth in cold camping. She took a light, quilted blanket for padding furniture while moving, ran a line of paracord over her cot, and draped the quilt over the cot like an a-framed tent. ⛺️ She also doubled up on sleeping bags. She said the cover over her cot made it noticeably warmer while sleeping. Both ends of her tent canopy were open so that probably let the moisture of her breath escape.
That is the saddest prime rib that ever existed. The outside shouldn't be brown lol.... Also of note, wasabi in North America is generally not real and is in fact made with horseradish, and dyed green.

As a Minnesotan, I've driven in conditions like this many times. Not a fun experience, and when you get to your destination, you are exhausted. Glad you made it ok.
When my dad was still young and there was a blizzard, he would tell mom and I to dress warm. We are going for a ride. His face glowing with excitement. And I mean white out just like you're driving in Ken. Once we almost ran into a car, stopped right on the road. The old man inside had passed away just before he got home. We went to the house and asked if the car was her husbands and broke the news. Waited until the ambulance and police arrived so she would not be alone. Another time our car stalled right after pulling into my aunts' driveway. Under the car's hood was packed with snow. We had to spend the night at my aunt's. It was exciting and scary. Dad passed away but I still treasure these memories. Drive safe Ken!
Unreal so cold yet hot in western Australia and today we celebrate Australia day ken you are legend doing these stealth camp in these tough conditions please stay warm and safe 🙏🙏🙏🙏 thank you for the awesome video.
I enjoy watching your channel. What was really cool was seeing you wear an Adirondacks t-shirt. I live in the Adirondacks , We have the Winter Ice Carnival going on with the famous Ice Castle starting February 1st. In Saranac Lake , NY.
Hi Ken, I just found your channel and love it❤. I live in a small town of Loxley Alabama , which is on the Gulf Coast and we had 8 inches of snow last week😊. It was wild.☃️❄️🌨️!Lows 12-14F However, the high today was 71°F . and humid 😵💫 😢My grandchildren had the best time playing in the snow. They got to play in the snow for almost 3 days before it warmed up⛅️☀️
Those freeze-dried meals are great when you're multi-day backpacking and you can source your water. But they are expensive. If you're car camping then tinned food makes more sense. My JetBoil I keep in the vehicle, they're perfect for that situation.
Twenty bucks a meal?! Ouch! May I suggest a food dehydrator? Would save u a lot of $ and probably be better! You can dehydrate all kinds of stuff!! Spaghetti, chili, stew, various veggies and beans. Alot of paddlers, a.k.a canoers, kayakers and hikers do that to save on weight. Just a suggestion. Love the channel...❤
When I was a little kid, I really wanted to see Blade Runner and finally talked my Dad into it. When we got to the theater, he said, "Oh, this is a double feature and there's some movie called the Thing which we have to watch first. Sorry." After the movie was done, we were both stunned and it quickly became one of my favorite movies. I miss the days of walking into an awesome movie knowing nothing about it beforehand,.
Great video Ken! I hate when restaurants don’t salt their fries right after they come out of the fryer. That’s the only time salt will stick to them. Great movie, I love the Thing!
Hi Ken, as usual another awesome vlog ! , here is a hack for defrosting your front window. When you put the heater on in the van also put your visors down so the heat reflects back on to the windshield off the visors. Be careful out there on those scary snowy roads especially in the open areas. I might have to make a trip to Trappers Choice for that Prime Rib. I live just north of Toronto and on a good day, would be worth the trip.
Great video Ken so cool seeing the small towns in different seasons🍻 My brother was working up on the roof of the Shoppers Drug Mart in Parry Sound the morning you were at Stacked 🍻
An insulated, thermal shopping bag with a foil surface that reflects should retain the heat when you prepare your meal. The bags are usually better than the collapsable boxes because you can expel excess air from the prior and the later have folds that let out some heat.
Another great video! Sticking to the french fries? I always go for mashed potatoes these days with everything. Steak, meatballs, sausage and fish. I just love it. So damn tired of those french fries.
I love John Carpenter's Apocalypse Trilogy! Though, it's funny you quoted Eddie Murphy's character in Trading Places before deciding on a movie, "Beef jerky time."
Ken, glad you made it safely to your destination. We always love the drone shots. I'm still trying to find a place here in Missouri that serves eggs Benedict I want to experience some. Once again thanks for the videos be safe and say hello to your family and to Paul. 😊
I just don't know if I agree that you are really putting yourself at risk all that much camping in your van in cold weather. If you get too cold, Don't you Just turn the van on and run the heat?

We get that kind of weather here in Alaska most winters… Except this winter there’s no snow and it’s been in the low to mid 30’s and 40’s pretty much all winter.. Wild winter you guys are having, usually what we have!
I appreciate the dedication with these videos, but be safe out there. Don’t put your life in danger just for a few more views and revenue than the normal cold camps. I was going to say. “400 ft?!? That doesn’t look like it’s 40 (approximately) story tall”
I like how he says train ‘trussle’ when it’s train trestle
Ken is so extra for some bagged stew lol

@Derek_Reynolds you're the only one hating my bro. Ken's draw is his goofy and ill informed content. Isn't it?

at those driving conditions you should use the fog lights so the people coming behind can see there is someone on front
I might be wrong but most, if not all American cars do not have rear fog lights like some European cars do.
