But surely WPP and Bain ran through some ‘What-If’ and ‘When’ scenarios if Kantar was sold of That said, would a sale result in a further slice and dice, seeing a free Insights and a possible Profiles & Worldpanel tie up. The question is where is the growth? Especially when, following a period of private equity ownership, that things at Kantar will have been trimmed to the bone and therefore some investment is required to realise the full potential of the organisation. That said they are great assets to partner with.
