This is the first time I have seen Billie nervous, her voice was trembling..
Probably it's her first time in this huge occasion with a status And also my first time to see her making(semi) proper speech and not act like those quirky girl
I didn't hear any voice trembling, but she did sound out of breath and said "um" a lot, so I guess she was nervous. She seemed more unprepared than anything, though.

For the first time ever I feel like I'm watching a person, an everyday person like you and me, win this award. I dont feel like I'm watching a celebrity that seems higher than everyone else or different from everyday people. Shes someone you can picture at home, laughing with her friends and family, not someone you need to be reminded is human. Shes always 100% herself no matter what shes doing or where she is. That's freaking insane and amazing when her speech in five years ago hit it and become truth. Both of them are so lovely and awesome talented singer and also, the two of female artists I love most . Taylor is strong enough, but it will be better if there's someone who's in the similar situation which Taylor experienced before can let her to rely on sometimes. For me, Billie had a slightly similar situation with Taylor as both of them become successful in 10s, have a lovely family and born in December. I hope that both of them can take good care of each other as well in the future.

Billie truly moves me with her refusal to use her body or sexuality as part of her image/marketing. Her decision on that is truly bold and brave. It is pure strength. She is paving the way for more *GIRLS (because Billie is still technically a girl) and women to be able to be artists instead of objects, to not be pressured by those in power (usually all of them men) to look a certain way or flash a lot of skin in order to be given a shot. She proves that objectification of the female body is 100% not necessary for a female artist to be a huge success. It is about the music. All the strong female artists who came before her didn't necessarily have the option to just be artists, not objects, but their hard work paved the way for Billie and others to turn that on its head. Kudos to every woman in the industry who is fighting every day against bullying about their bodies, their femininity, etc.

I did not mean to suggest that women who DO show their bodies are somehow "selling out" or doing something wrong. I meant only that too often aspiring female singers and actresses, often underage, are pressured to look, weigh, or dress a certain way by usually all-male executives calling the shots, so Billie is creating a space for future girls to see that THEY can have the power, not the producer, director, etc., who think they have to objectify themselves in order to "make it". If a woman wants to flaunt her stuff, all the power to her. I don't have a problem with it, as long as it's HER decision, her choice what to show, when, and how. As long as it's coming from her and no one else, she can wear and do as she pleases and I will cheer her on every time. I am encouraged to see Billie succeed without flaunting it because it is so out of the norm, and it means future girls might be able to pursue their dreams free of the constant pressure to look or dress a certain way in order to get a record deal by those in power. I'm very encouraged by this.
